I still remember this moment and how sad Tatum was. Warriors made sure he didn’t give up. I always thought Tatum was likeable and just went out there & played ball. Can’t say that for a lot of our foes. A lot of mutual respect. I’m glad he got his redemption for this moment. 2 years in the making.

Celtics current roster are actually very likeable. They deserve it.
they dominated the league just like how the warriors used to
The Warriors are not at all responsible for Tatum not giving up.
That subway commercial cemented their legacy
Well he didn’t preform much better in the finals this time around. 21/7/6 on 36% shooting vs 22/8/7 on 38% shooting. Just his teammates played much better.
As soon as Marcus smart was off the team, it became a lot easier to like the Celtics
Jesus fucking christ bro.. i keep ignoring these reflected glory bullshit posts that this sub is doing right now but this is LAUGHABLE…
Warriors HELPED HIM TO NOT GIVE UP?? AFTER BEATING HIM? are you listening to yourself? Type this in the Celtics sub and see how they like this bullshit.
Yeah it’s pretty easy to keep going when there isn’t an actual team up against you. Get the fuck outta here, that loser crumbled without any competition, imagine if they actually had to play a real team.
Never forget. https://www.boston.com/sports/boston-celtics/2023/05/22/charles-barkley-magic-johnson-blast-celtics-game-3-loss-heat/?amp=1
I agree, I feel like Boston was set to take over for the warriors after 2022. It was like let’s show you what it takes to win a championship and now they should probably be set to win another one over the next couple years before some of the young teams catch up. I am hoping warriors can sneak another one in obviously but to me 2022 was the swan song for them and Boston was who they passed the torch to.
If only we get Drue instead of CP3. Im happy for him to get another ring.
For Tatum yeah he deserves to get one after years of failure against Lebron and Buttler. When he finally went to the finals the 1st time, he was met by the human torch and send him to sleep!!
As for Brown fk Brown! I still remember him trash talking against Curry.
It’s crazy that they got stopped by the Heat last year
Whatever. Just glad it wasn’t Kyrie & Luka
I remember Dray saying, “You’ll be back.” Good for them that they did make it back.
I will say that I never understood people saying that the Jays can’t play together because of an overlapping skill set. Jordan and Pippen played almost exactly the same way and are the most successful duo ever.
Tatum sucks balls. Gtfo. Brown at least plays hard
what the hell did I just read?
This is a soft ass fucking post sorry ass finals
WARRIORS HOE

The only thing the Warriors taught the Celtics was that the two Js need a lot of help and it took their front office another year to REALLY see it and execute it
Fuuuuuuuckkkkkkk the Celtics. Delete this fucking post.
Yeah there’s some dumbasses commenting but I’m with you OP. Adversity is the most important thing for growth. Both Tatum and Brown are incredible individuals who deserved this. Happy for them.
