for that price point if you just want to bring in an individual star so it’s $5 million for Looney and then $30 million for CP3 as for the Chris Paul situation specifically you could try to trade him but you’d likely be taking back another bad contract in order to match the salaries and make that trade work if you wave them you open up as much money as you can and according to reports the Warriors in CP3 have discussed moving on that June 28th contract guarantee is kind of looming there that’s the deadline so remember that date as we move forward as we record this show on this fine Tuesday June 18th of 2024 move number two Let Klay Thompson walk just like waving cavon Looney would be a very difficult and emotional decision that doesn’t compare with the reality of moving on from Klay Thompson and it’s unfortunate you just can’t pay a declining asset who’s passed his prime who has an injury history who has shown signs of decline $30 million and I know that Klay Thompson has helped lift this Warriors team to new heights he’s been the backbone of this Warriors Championship culture but at some point you have to move on because in professional Athletics when players decline you can’t afford good the defensive rating for Klay Thompson has gone down each of the last several years and for Bleacher Report they’re predicting that Klay Thompson is going to land a threeyear $82 million contract from the Orlando Magic and the Warriors with where they are this is the reality of the situation can’t afford that with Klay Thompson now from my view more thoughts on that coming up here as we get bit of a concern but these are Championship rotation types of pieces that can make the Warriors a better Basketball Club in order to compete with the Boston Celtics as for the B the by annual for kaminga as compared to if you wait and if the Warriors view kaminga as Untouchable it kind of means they believe he could be a second or third option on a title team can he be that guy for Steph Curry huge decision looming this off season and I think the Warriors actions are going to go a long way in leading us to find out what they think of kaminga last 44 games played after he complained about not getting enough run from Steve Curry he played really really good almost 19 points per game 54% from the floor and 36% from three you extend them once other moves are made because you want to bit with the Utes last year 38% from three 17 points per game not a bad rebounder he can stretch the floor little bit light at 7 feet 220 lbs but nonetheless a player who could fit this team right now so you look at the five moves that the Warriors can make to Dethrone and take down Boston because that team’s scary you know Jaylen Brown’s 27 Jason Tatum’s 26 six you wave Looney and Paul you let Klay Thompson walk you trade Andrew Wiggins away for a roll piece or a starter and Jared Allen you develop and extend Jonathan kaminga you drop the proven Talent at number 52 and then the potential roster starting five Steph Curry Draymond Green Jonathan kaminga Brandon psky Jared Allen I like that and then your bench the Anthony Milton Trace Jackson Davis na Marshall Brandon Carlson and Monty
