[Moore] However, several league sources independently noted this week that they expect Klutch Sports to prefer a trade for Garland if Mitchell is re-signed.

League sources are dreaming that they can somehow trade for Garland as if he were a distressed asset.

I prefer they realize DG needs learn to be an effective complement to a superstar here or elsewhere to increase his value so it’s best for him to do it here with two bigs who cover up his weaknesses.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’m not opposed to him requesting a trade. He’s still young, has a lot of potential, and a decent amount of time left on his contract. We all saw that it’s a questionable fit alongside Mitchell, so I hope we can turn him into a piece that fits better.
My only concern is if Koby can turn him into a better return than he got for Kyrie

So lebron wants to play with DG

Some people are claiming JB is the reason why DM and Garland dont work. First thing I would say to that is that two small ball dominant guards is a pairing that historically has not worked in the NBA. Second thing I would say is that Garland is vastly overrated and is not worth keeping if the dude cant even step up when Mitchell is out and if he doesnt even want to play with Mitchell! Why would we keep a guy who isnt that good and doesnt want to be here? We need full buy in from our guys not a hostage situation

I don’t get why teams let agency’s boss them around. Fuck them they signed a contract
ThankYouMrUppercut
I love DG but my read is that we’ll trade him. Cavs have to posture like they want to hold onto him to keep the offers high so we get a decent return.

It’s their Joba as agents to make money.

These being the same league sources reporting earlier in the year that Mitchell leaving was a “sure thing”? I’m not saying it won’t happen. Just saying I trust these off-season reports about as much as I trust a politician

I think JB broke some of us thinking our 2 stars can’t work together! It sure can with the right coaches
