I’m mean it’s really not that disrespectful besides ranking the magic ahead of us but that’s only one spot. It takes a couple years of being competitive for teams to get respect, especially for small markets.
Only solution for being “disrespected” for beating injured teams is to just go out and win again next year
I thought 10-12 would be reasonable. Seems fine enough, but I’d rank us above the Clippers due to the PG free agency.
This isn’t disrespectful at all. I know all of us believe 2024 wasn’t a flash in the pan season, but the Pacers have to prove to everyone else they can bring it night in and night out, which they did not do at all during the regular season.
Time to show they learned from the playoffs and make sure they don’t lose to inferior teams over and over.
4th best net rating after the all-star break. Best off rating in the playoffs. 13th on this article is ridiculous.
I could care less. Its time to move on and see if the Pacers can do anything with another year together and the experience they gained from post season.

I think it’s a fair ranking. We’re rated over teams like Sac LA and Cleveland who would have been rated above us last year. We don’t have a superstar coming back like Memphis, nor have we been perennial playoff teams like the ones above us. Orlando is rated above us because they have a max slot that they will presumably use to improve this off season.
I don’t think it’s a bad assessment. I think the reason I was so shitty we lost that first game and the series against the Cs because it really it hard to get that far again in the post season. I do think if we make great moves this offseason we will be back
BR is no better than ESPN these days. Will be interesting to see their excuse for our success next season.
Right now there is a lot of parity and the difference between 6th and 16th isn’t as big as it used to be.
