business and because myy didn’t give you the the money you wanted but now the Clippers aren’t paying me the money I want so it it doesn’t really make sense to me there that that line of reasoning I truly think at the end of the day Paul George is going to go where he can get the bag one last time and we’ve talked about it on the show the Clippers reportedly are not willing to offer Paul George more than what they gave kawhai 3 years 150 million the Sixers could offer significantly more than that four years over 220 million it ends up being more per year than what he can get from the Clippers so you know Harden I I don’t think that him saying this the Paul George will be able to convince him not to sign with Philly at least not to sign with the Clippers over Philly now could Paul George maybe take that into consideration and maybe I don’t know sign with a team like the magic who have also been reported to be interested in Paul George and can also offer Paul George and Max Steel and there’s no player telling him don’t sign with Orlando don’t sign with Orlando we’ll see you know what is his relationship with James Harden how much does he really trust him you know how much is it even really credible you know what James Harden is saying I don’t know at the end of the day Harden can say what he wants what happened happened it’s over I I really don’t think Paul George is going to consider what Harden has to say about Daryl mury too much when at the end of the day the Sixers are going to be able to pay him more than what the Clippers are willing to exactly right so two first round picks in the future and then a second round pick this year pick 41 as Philadelphia holds on to pick number 16 helps the Bulls rebuild coming in at number three Reign Kelly UB $10.5 million right there for an athletic Wing who can occasionally start come in Off the Bench and we saw how he fit on this team last year Nick nurse able to bring the best out of him and then how about this you resigned to Anthony Melton for about $12 million and this is a player who is a very good Defender solid offensive player who has familiarity with your team unfortunately for him got injured last year with the back and then you resign Nicholas patum at 5.5 million so this really is a way and an Avenue for you to fill out the rest of your team to fill out the rest of your roster while still bringing in Paul George we ain’t done yet you sign Obby top him $12.9 million high flyer I’m not a massive OB topping guy but I do like the size and the athleticism and the length that he has you would dress backup center behind Joel mbid by Sonic cavon Looney $4.7 million there and then you fill out the rest of your guard spots by resigning Kyle Lowry at $3.3 million so that’s a bevy of moves right there to make you a legitimate team to compete with the Boston Celtics so your potential roster becomes the players that we talked about and your starting five looks as such you have Tyrese Maxi Alex Caruso as your two guards you have Paul George on the wing Nick Batum can play the four Kelly UB can play the four and then Joel MB can play the five and then I think that you’re bench is in a pretty decent spot your total payroll $1 174.000 million and then the first apron chip $1 1785 million yeah and this number by the way that you see here this payroll this is before you sign Maxi because you want to make all your other moves before you sign Tyrese Maxi because again you have his Bird right so that allows you to use the cap space as much as you can so obviously they would sign Maxi this would put them right up at that second apron and you know you don’t necessarily want to be a second second apron team for more than one year once you start getting to that se second apron for consecutive Seasons you start to get penalties your draft pick can get moved back to the end of the first round there’s obviously a lot of luxury tax payments Sixers would have to make but look this is a stacked roster right and you know in the NBA you got to you got to pay for talent right you got to pay to compete and that’s what the Sixers are going to have to do this off season a starting five of Maxi cruso Paul George patum and beid you can obviously mix in you know danthony Melton Kelly UB had those two Off the Bench with Jared McCain Obi toppen you still have hold on to Paul Reed and rookie Council in this scenario you’re bring in a cavon looney it’s a loaded loaded team and I understand you know from the Sixers perspective maybe you don’t want to pay all this money for you know a team that hasn’t been able to get past the second round in in quite a long time but I think this is a roster that could truly compete with the of the Celtics and the other top teams in the East you got to do what you got to do you got to do what you got to do and I I get it’s a lot of money but man this do you want to win a title do you want you want to win a title or not yeah and this construction of this team around Paul George I think we’ll put the Sixers again right at the top of that Eastern Conference yeah like the construction of the roster you’re going to have to make a lot of moves in order to try and compete with Boston a really really good team that was the best team from poll to pole start to finish and some people want to say ah the East was light the East was injured yeah you know you have a point there but Boston was still the best team both record-wise and statistically from start to finish and they dusted the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals
