The Risacher hopeful’s may get their cake after all

There's an actual chance that the hawks could take Clingan. Meaning Washington would more than likely take Sarr. Assuming rockets draft Sheppard, Risacher may be available to us after all. How do we feel about this?

Rockets wouldn’t take Risacher right? Based on their other wings. But yes, someone in the top 3 taking Clingan would be a game-changer for us.

  2. > The status of Atlanta’s Trae Young is the big question hovering over the franchise. One option that has been widely discussed among teams is the possibility of the Hawks reacquiring their unprotected 2025 first-round pick from San Antonio (perhaps in a swap for the No. 4 pick), which would give the team far more flexibility for rebuilding. That would currently be difficult to fathom, with their next three draft picks (2025, 2026 swap rights and 2027) owned by the Spurs.

    > The Hawks worked out Reed Sheppard last week and Clingan before that, two attractive options at No. 4 should they elect to slide back. Atlanta also brought in Matas Buzelis, Cody Williams and Ron Holland for workouts. — Givony

What does “unable to bring sarr in” even mean? No way he is turning down workouts for them lol I think they do love clingan. This is also starting to remind me of 2022 when every bit of Orlando Intel swore they loved Smith, had barely talked to banchero etc

    1.Risacher 2.Sarr 3.Sheppard….won’t believe Clingan going top 3 until I see it.

  5. Clingan at 1 is hilarious please Atlanta

Like if you want him so bad trade down to 6 or 7 bro

Is Sarr really trying to also campaign to join us?

It is nice to feel desirable.

This feels like a smokescreen for Atlanta to try to convince a Clingan hopeful team to trade up for the pick

Not worried about it, pick 4 is going to be a solid player no matter what. I’m mostly concered who we take at 8. And praying Edey falls to 36 or we trade up to the late first round to snag him.

This has to be a smokescreen. There’s no way Clingan, who has struggled to break into the Top 10 of talents in this notably weak draft, would be the #1 pick lmao

ATL F’d themselves with the Spurs trade, I can see why players wouldn’t want to go there.  They may not have a FRP in ’25, the Spurs have swap rights in ’26 and ATL doesn’t have a FRP in ’27.  So in terms of ATL building through the Draft good luck.

Clingan at No 1 gives me 2013 vibes. I’m not saying he’ll bust as hard as Bennett did, but it feels so out of place. That’s an incredibly weak prospect for the number 1 pick.

Does Risacher and Sarr have any connection to Wemby at all or is it just because they’re French?

  13. I just hope the Spurs keep ATL’s 2025 pick if they make any trades with them.

Reeks of Michael Beasley taken with the 2OA

As long as we can nab Risacher, Sheppard, or Castle at 4, I’m happy.

I am not a draft expert but the people who I listen to who claim to be have had some pretty concerning shit to say about him. This draft is so stressful…

I would rather us take Sarr, but would be OK with him or Castle.
