This is all correct and why it’s not crazy to still be bullish on the Clippers next season. We have an expiring and a few picks and swaps to work with to land a good 4. The roster was really unbalanced as a result of the trade, not to mention our big 3 learning how to play together on the fly.
Trade PJ, Bones, and picks for DFS or someone like that, sign Lowry or CP3 on a minimum, and find an upgrade backup big. Do those things and you can absolutely compete if healthy.
RoCo was a glorified towel boy who never played and Batum is an old role player who already stated it was his last year in the league. If you need those two for a championship then maybe PG and Kawhi are not the Max players they think they are
Covington hardly even played. I remember that being something LAC fans complained about constantly. It was like Ty Lue had some vendetta against him
We had Free RoCo chants at the arena, Batum did not rebound his wife stated multiple times on X that he was retiring and he wants to spend more time with his fam (they backtracked after he was traded). Just get rid of this clown
