Honestly, so much had to go right for the Celtics in these finals, and it did-…but just imagine for a second how different things would have been had the Mavs just clamped down slightly more in those clutch moments in games 2 and 3, massive leads blown, comebacks that fell just short with too-little time left…could have been a different story 😮❤

Boston deserved the championship. But, they could not stop doncic.
Many say Larry Bird wasn't athletic. Compared to Doncic, he could do everything but fly.
Show us the ones where he travels every time he touches the ball. Oh wait, you can’t, you’d need like 50 hours to do that.
EVERY offensive move he makes he pushes off with his arm. EVERY single one. That's a foul in previous decades in the NBA. The absolute disregard for ball dribbling, traveling and offensive fouls in today's NBA, makes it a joke. Comparing Doncic to past eras is obscene, since most of his points come by way of him pushing off to gain space. He's good, but he would absolutely get eaten alive in the 80s with the more physical play, the harder defense, and offensive fouls, and dribble violations being called.
This pretty much defines his career. Amazing passes and incredible shots, but mavericks still down by 20
