Yes trade our 2nd highest draft pick in 30 years to a team that’s on a very similar timeline to ours, what a great idea! Let Walker develop behind P. He will be 24 by the time Siakam’s contract is over and hopefully will be ready to step in with some growth still left in him. Remember, we’re going to be and over the cap team for the next decade and won’t have high draft picks to add talent, the teams window extends beyond just Myles and P, we need to think about all of Hali’s prime, we might not acquire a young talent like Walker for a very long time. I’d rather die on the Walker train than do something silly.
These are people who just don’t understand the Pacers’ roster. We are trading Jarace unless we get back a star. OKC isn’t giving away stars.
Unless it is a massive overpay, I dont think the Pacers should be looking to trade Mathurin or Walker

I don’t mind this article – it’s carefully worded to just talk about how the Pacers have 3 PF’s on the roster if they keep Obi and how Jarace fits OKC perfectly, suggesting OKC should look into him. To his credit, I bet Jarace would make OKC an incredible team.
At least it’s not like the shitty articles about how desperately the Cavs NEED to trade Jarrett Allen for peanuts because “two bigs can’t work” with some mental gymnastics even though it’s been statistically fine and Mobley’s 3 started to develop throughout the year. It also doesn’t offer a terrible fake trade like Walker for Giddey and 2 future second round picks.

The article doesn’t even try to say what Jarace would be traded for. Not sure there is a deal that could be made that both sides would feel like is a good deal.
I wouldn’t trade Jarace for Dort, and the better players on their team (SGA, JDub, and Chet) obviously wouldn’t get dealt for him.
We either give Walker minutes next season or trade him now. If we decide to give him no minutes again, his value will go down in the dirt
They can target him all they want, he’s not going anywhere
