The Raptors have a Drake problem…
The Toronto Raptors have a looming issue on their hands that has nothing to do with their roster or on-court product. The issue has to do with alarming accusations that have surfaced about their brand ambassador/global ambassador and fairest of fairweather fans, drizzy Drake. Love him or hate him, Kendrick Lamar ended his career last night at a concert. LeBron was bumping his head, DeMar and Russ danced on stage, Dre introduced a moment of silence before ushering in 6 straight plays of Not Like Us.
Basketball and hiphop have been linked at the hip for decades, and it would appear that with all the allegations about Drake, the Toronto Raptors would be very wise to do some SERIOUS PR and damage control before we have a REAL situation (and you damn well know what I mean) on our hands.
