a major report is drao from Brian wior of ESPN that revealed that OG and anobi right now is frustrated with the offers that are coming in from the New York Knicks specifically and we all know msai jer’s tight relationship with OG and anobi and specific rivalry with the Knicks and now there’s some speculation that OG anobi could leave New York and more Rumblings more of the conspiracy theories out there are pitching that the Toronto Raptors may have been planning the biggest Heist of all time against the New York Knicks trading OG to the New York Knicks during a tanking year where the Raptors are actively losing games bringing in some key assets and then bringing back the sweet prince The kawhai Prodigy OG and anobi back to this team and tanking a division rival so we brought in Nick’s expert Chris Galler Nick’s digest to really sink our teeth into this again insane Theory but more specifically the OG an adobe latest update so Chris this is some Madness that’s going on before I let you dive into it let’s just break down the reports because Brian wior came out and said let’s keep an eye on that most people believe o OG an anobi will stay with New York but there have been some indications he may want to test the market because he is not thrilled with what the Knicks are offering now obviously it’s a bit of a pipe dream it’s a bit out their take with OG coming back to the Raptors but how are you feeling about this chance of New York keeping OG and it’ll be giving the latest reports and everything that’s going on before we dive into the Raptors conspiracy theories so prior to talking about the Toronto Raptors I will say up until around 24 hours ago I was 100% certain the New York Knicks were going to keep Oobi that’s dropped to 98% sure I’m not worried about the Nicks losing OG they know what they gave up for him they gave up RJ Barrett who unsurprisingly went to Toronto was able to play in A system that worked for him and put up what with the Raptors 23 4 and four and then IQ was broken out we got we gave up two young players for a guy who would help this team become great when OG came to the Knicks and when Julius Randall was there for the one month that happened they looked like the best team in the NBA they had the best defense in the league they’re not going to lose OG they’ll pay him the Knicks know that at the end of the day there’s no use in losing OG on and Obi for nothing they knew getting him there was the risk of him becoming a free agent you don’t exactly know what you have to pay the man but it’s clear that OG wants a lot of money and that’s fair he helps teams win his play clearly goes beyond the stats but also at the same time I think there’s less of a market for OG anobi than some people believe because when you look at teams that would realistically go for anobi you got teams like the 76ers if Paul George doesn’t work out maybe the Oklahoma City Thunder and maybe the Detroit Pistons when I’ve looked into this there doesn’t seem like there’s 10 teams that are waiting to try to find a way to get OG on aobi there’s only so many teams that not scheming right now sir dude the odds have you guys nowhere near I just did a video on Nick’s digest about OG on anobi if you guys go over there you could see at the end of the video I put some odds up there and kind of just talked a little bit about how I don’t think OG’s leaving the Knicks when you look at what the Knicks are building when you look at the fact that OG an an noi’s agent is New York Nicks president Leon Rose’s son I really don’t see a way that OG leaves the Knicks have made their team some family business they’re not going to lose one of the key members of that I just don’t see that being a real possibility they’ll fold and they’ll pay OG if nothing else that’s fair and obviously OG and OB stats have been not crazy in terms of box score numbers 15 points four rebounds two assists for OG 38% from the three-point line honestly his numbers are kind of down from where he was in years prior with the Toronto Raptors but still only 26 years old probably if not the best on ball defender in the NBA definitely up there in terms of what he’s able to do shoots 46% on corner 3es just exactly what you want as a prototypical role player and yes realistically my rational head completely agrees it is a pipe dream for the Toronto Raptors to come in it makes sense for him to stay with the New York Knicks and you brought up another team that could be interested the Sixers I’ve seen OG and anobi as an offseason Target I feel like they’re the most realistic threat to land OG if he were to leave the New York Knicks in free agency that’s all well and good you know that’s that’s great we’re really happy for the New York Knicks down there you know doing your thing in the the Eastern Conference playoffs and stuff but again the betting odds all these things this can’t be something that leaks if this was planned if this little you know conspiracy this little idea that’s thrown out there from the Toronto Raptors this happens quick this happens fast and no one can know about it because that would be absolutely insane so Chris let me sell you on why the Toronto Raptors are not not favorites not this are going to steal OG and anomi this off season in my delusional head why this needs to happen because obviously right now the New York Knicks and uh torona Raptors they have a bit of a history right the New York Knicks sued the Toronto Raptors for using X Nick’s employee as a as a the steal scouting Secrets just some frivolous lawsuit that uh you know your owner can come out there and say hey let’s try to stick it to some guy that absolutely finessed me in the Carmelo Anthony trade that finessed me in the Andrea barani trade that was essential in getting yakob Purtle who landed us kawhai Leonard Chris you essentially traded us kawh Leonard for Andrea barani but we weird trade tree happen in there but that’s going on here at this point and then the Knicks were the only team to vote against Toronto’s w NBA expansion uh franchise if there’s a team that Messi U Jeri is going to be Petty enough with if there’s a player Messi Jeri is going to be Petty enough to do a crazy finesse to do something along the lines of this which would be immoral which would be against all these business right all this type of stuff it would be against the New York Knicks we know the relationship between Messi Jerry OG an anobi obviously this is uh some tinf foil hat stuff happening but how would Nick fans feel Chris I want to know as again we’re probably not living in reality right now the draft is coming around this is the space that we’re in at this point but I want to know how Nick’s fans would feel once July 1st or whenever the official days come out when you can sign if there’s an OG an anobi contract being signed with the Toronto Raptors and uh you know the Nicks get nothing and also lost Emanuel quickley and RJ Barrett well um if that happen shout out my co-host Dariel kcha he would have to make that video because I’d throw my computer right off my balcony and then after that I’d probably go to MSG which I live three blocks from walk in there break in find Leon Rose I don’t know why the hell he’d be in MSG but he would be for the sake of this and I’d probably just flip the hell out on him look honestly obviously I don’t think OG’s going to go back to the Raptors yes we Su you guys but I don’t know maybe eek wazam shouldn’t have stolen over a thousand files from the Knicks your security up get your defense up bro get your defense up get our def yeah I guess we have to get our security Intel up if anything because asam’s going in there taking files all that um and I honestly don’t know why the Knicks voted against the WNBA team I won’t lie I found that kind of funny because that petty sure it was it was petty it it was which is weird because you guys gave us a player that well made us the best team in the NBA when we were healthy so how many Conference Finals wins you get this year the same amount as the Toronto Raptors less or the same amount as pasak too but I digress well I don’t know if you’ve seen but uh you yours and every other Raptors F every other Raptor fans good friend Pascal SE is reigning on a 4-year $189 million deal with the Indiana Pacers and on a separate note I think the Pacers are going to flame out but that’s not for here or there I I’m a Knicks fan I think people can understand why I have some animosity there um but with OG he makes the Knicks a team that even without Julius Randle being there had OG on noi been healthy through the playoffs the Nicks would have been in the Conference Finals they probably would not have gotten swept in the Conference Finals like there’s a lot of reason to believe that OG an anobi despite the numbers having him looking like a role player and kind of the fact that he is a role player but he’s one of the best in the sense that with the way the NBA has gone you’re not stacking your team up full of Allstars anymore your third best player on your team is probably going to be your best role player that has been the case for most NBA teams I mean look at the Dallas Mavericks they had two stars and a bunch of role players they went to the NBA finals stuff like that when you look at a team like the Minnesota Tim wolves they had two legit Stars Allstars in Anthony Edwards and Carl Anthony towns then you have Rudy goar maybe a little bit better than a role player but you got role players like that OG fits that mold of a guy who could be the third best player on a championship team maybe fits a little better as a fourth best regardless he’s someone the Nicks see way too much value into having obviously it would have been easier for the Raptors to win the championship had OG been healthy for that run in 2019 MH but he does have the ring he’s been there he the man knows how to win he’s on the roster he’s on the roster he was on the roster and better yet I I talk about this with the Raptors with the Heat and the Spurs a lot they’re just high quality organizations players who join those teams it’s not a matter of where you’re getting picked it’s a matter of what team is picking you who’s going to develop you the Raptors have been great at that the Heat have been great at that the Spurs have been great at at it in the last three years or so the Knicks have been good at it when you look at highquality teams they’re not going to make a trade like this and this more goes towards the Knicks but also does affect the Raptors with IQ where it’s you’re not going to make a trade like this knowing there’s a chance you could lose that guy in four months after you just traded that you know of that you know of Chris Scotty Burns is even hinting at it sir he said on a stream the other day I talked to OG anobi every day it’s it’s happening the Finesse the fix is in sir the fix is in that no you’re right because Scotty Barnes he’s friends with his former teammate and he talks to him that’s that’s the key right there no on a serious note I think it’s the same thing as IQ the Raptors know they’re not going to actually lose the guy obviously he’s restricted little bit different but when you’re a high quality organization with the nck which the Knicks have been for the last uh two years I I just don’t see a world where they manag to botch this it’s not the Knicks of old where if Steve Mills and Phil jacks and we’re running this team like oh yeah they’re probably just going to lose OG on an noi because they’re stupid no this is the best GM the Knicks have had and I in my lifetime at least well James Dolan is still the owner M Jerry’s been slacking on the finesses lately I think he’s been saving it all up for this one realistically the comments are already roast to me for this unrealistic tape but you know what I need this to happen this has to go down so you
