Thoughts?

Would you consider this if you were the front office and were targeting a player unlikely to be available at 10?

Houston takes whichever of Topic/Dillingham/Sheppard still on the Board and the Jazz get “their guy” if they have one.

Nah… I was enticed at first since we would be able to get Reed Sheppard or Stephon Castle at 3, but I’m not sure it’s worth giving up 3 pretty good assets in Kessler, Clarkson and 10.

I‘m guessing Rockets fans would say that they are giving up the two best assets in the trade.

I’d do it but l and it seems like a good deal for Houston although I don’t know how Kessler and Seguin can coexist.

Those are 3 of our better assets, we give away for what? A guy who would go closer to 10 than 3 in almost any other draft? I’m good.

At first you might think that this isn’t the type of draft to do this. Because the #3 pick is arguably going to be barely better than the #10 pick.

That being said, Reed Sheppard would be there and I actually strongly believe that he’s the closest prospect to John Stockton I’ve seen in a while. His efficiency, intangibles, vision, defense with steals, and just the way he plays…all remind me of Stock.

Rockets aren’t giving up Eason, they seem high on him
