i can’t believe they were holding onto him like their lives depended on it and they traded him for fucking josh giddey

  2. they haven’t made a trade in years and they finally do and its terrible

  3. To get a guy that got played off the court in the playoffs.

I guess that’s not an issue because they’re not gonna be sniffing the playoffs anyway

  4. doordaesh

wasn’t there a headline last week about that still being the mandate

  5. SPAGHETTI_CAKE

I’m not sure Giddey is worse than a top 10 pick this year tbh. He’s got tons of talent and skill

  6. 789Trillion

Good ownership is often the difference between a competent front office and a not so competent one.

  7. ilickedysharks

You couldn’t even do this shit in 2k holy shit

  8. ZarduHasselffrau

The ownership thinks Michael Jordan still plays for the Bulls

  9. archerarcher0

Who in the top 10 offered their pick for Caruso? I can’t really see that

  10. joebos617

the bulls are an abomination for not bothering to ask for a pick

  11. chillhomer

those drose years tricked me into rooting for this stupid ass franchise

  12. Puzzleheaded_Pound31

Josh fucking Giddey. Zero picks involved just a 1v1…. The Bulls are one of the most baffling teams we have in the league and I for one love watching this nonsense

  13. “In the top 10” usually means 9 or 10. I’d take Giddey over that. And AKME doesn’t have the job security to trade for like Philly’s 2028 first or whatever. He was stuck.

  14. BabaBrody

We’ve had Colangelos installed for less than this.

  15. xxJAMZZxx

Look I hate this trade too but let’s be real – Giddey is young and has shown some potential and this draft has widely been considered one of the worst in years. He’s surely more of a sure thing than what I assume is a pick around number 10.

  16. ProfessionalAd1015

Presti is a silver tongued demon I swear lmao. We must never get rid of him

  17. Delicious_Series3869

I don’t know how flipping Caruso for Josh is a sign of winning basketball. What do they think OKC are trying to do?

  18. coolycooly

Honestly smart by the Bulls GM to get around the push for the playoffs thing by acting like Giddey makes them better.

  19. ObiwanSchrute

This reminds me when we could of got a first for Bojan like a year before he was traded but Troy waited for some reason

  20. Konfliction

How is making your team worse a push for the playoffs? Like genuinely I think this trade actually made us better then them now

  21. I mean if you put Giddey into this draft he’s probably a top 10 pick isn’t he?

  22. The Bulls just strive to be the worst kind of treadmill team.

They’re not even on the 4-6 seed treadmill, they’re on the play-in treadmill.

  23. background_action92

The Chicago owner is such a bastard. Wasn’t it his fault that the Jordan Bulls soured at the end? And they blamed it all on Krause

  24. FailOk8045

*Josh Giddey furiously googles age of consent in Illinois*

  25. Stop it. We’re already dead. Leave our corpse alone.

  26. baylonedward

Presti must be Danzo, mind controlling people without them knowing lmao.

  27. CoyotesSideEyes

To be fair to Jerry Reinsdorf, he’s 88 years old and…from his perspective, fuck the future.

  28. Idk I’d take Giddey over everyone in the 24 draft besides Sarr

  29. Giddy is arguably the better player in this trade.

  30. Ill_Celery_7654

Pushed for the playoffs just to still be mid. Just shows the owners only care about money.

  31. johnnymostwithtoast

Also a top ten pick in this draft is awful value

  32. makashiII_93

If you see a Bulls fan, give them a hug.

Until Reinsdorf is gone, this is how life is I fear.

  33. Resident-Accident-81

Chicagos got to be one of the most mismanaged teams in the league. This trade is brutal.

  34. hydratedandstrong

I don’t think I will see Chicago win a NBA title any time soon. It’s hard enough to win a championship with a competent organization. And ours is complete ass

  35. scurry3-1

People are sleeping on Josh Giddey. He is only 21 and is already an elite passer and decent scorer. His floor is probably Sabonis.

  36. True_Scallion_7011

Everyone looking at the negatives of this trade and not the positives.

    Caruso is 30 years old.
    Giddey is 21 years old.
Caruso is at his peak and Giddey is not.
Caruso is injured more often than Giddey.

Yes Caruso is a better player but no need to ignore these factors because of it

  37. justinpollock

pump the brakes on the emotions. The GM’s know more than this entire collection of feelings

  38. LightningMcDream

I feel bad for Bulls fans and my squad hired a podcaster today

  39. Funnel_Hacker

Kind of weird commentary in this thread. Giddey is a borderline starter on a decent team. Caruso is a bench player on any team. What are we taking about here?

  40. HotspurJr

Bear in mind that a top 10 pick in this draft (which means like 8-10, probably) is really like 18-20 in most drafts.

I would rather have Giddey than the median 18th pick in a typical draft.

People are over-rating the value of draft picks vs. 21-year-old players who have proven they belong on an NBA floor.
