Assuming it’s a new jersey reveal, I agree with what [Kuz said](https://x.com/kylekuzma/status/1713927309328019813?t=AZhO9PkXPiQ5OO0LNdVxEQ&s=19) last year. Nike needs to stop with the endless alternate jerseys, giving every team a new one each season. We should just use the same one or two alternates each season that are memorable. My pick would be sticking to the Stars and Stripes or the 2000s-era throwbacks from a couple seasons ago. Only introduce a new alternate if it’s a truly great idea or to commemorate a milestone for the organization.

>My guess is this tweet from the team is about a new Wizards “Statement Edition” jersey that incorporates D.C.’s 202 area code.
>Which leads me to ask a question to everyone: If this is about a new alternate jersey, is the team’s tweet good marketing or horrendous marketing?
I’m crossing my fingers they don’t do something like the Nuggets City Edition and just have “202” across the chest.
