🚨BIG MOVE COMING: Bulls Rumors After The Alex Caruso Josh Giddey Trade Ft. Zach LaVine

[Music] could a big move be coming for your Chicago Bulls following the Alex Caruso Josh giddy Blockbuster NBA trade that went down earlier today what’s going on guys welcome into the Bulls report my name is Patrick seatman so what now for Chicago what direction are the Bulls heading be diving into that all on today’s show before we dive into that make sure you guys are subscribed here to the channel me and my man Tex are staying here late at the chat sports Studios wanted to get another video for you guys out regarding the latest around your favorite basketball team so hit that sub button if you guys haven’t already but let’s look at the trade details as it was a player for player trade with the bulls Landing Josh giddy for Alex Caruso now I just want to take the first half of today’s show give you guys my thoughts on Josh gidy as I went back looked at some more of you know the stats and the highlights and just overall the takeaways that I’ve seen from Thunder fans around number three and then also on the second half Today’s show the latest round Zack ofine D rozan and VES I think a fire sale could be coming for Chicago let’s talk about Josh giddy here for a little bit so Josh giddy the more I’m looking into this is you know obviously this is natural with everything uh especially in sports like I’ve noticed you know the more I look into a player the more I look into a prospect whether it’s the NBA NFL the more I like him and that’s kind of starting to happen here with Josh giddy now he had a very good year this past season as it was actually a down year for giddy but he still was able to put up 12 points a night 4.8 assists 6.4 rebound shot pretty efficiently as well but I do want to highlight the 2022 23 season for gidy so that year giddy actually played just over 30 minutes a game and this was his best year of his NBA career and this was actually when he was 20 years old he averaged 20 or he averaged 16.6 points per game 7.9 rebounds 6.8 assists and he shot 48% from the field and 32% from downtown so that was the best Josh giddy we’ve seen even though this year was his best um shooting year in terms from the three-point department and actually on catch and shoot threes this year he was solid as well at 34.4% pullup mides are a big part of his game shot that pretty efficiently and then less than 10 feet very uh good as well but just my kind of thoughts on gidd is you know I think this adds a you know a player who the blls could now have off the bench for their foreseeable future as being that offensive generator I want to use TJ McConnell as an example here you look at what TJ McConnell did for the Indiana Pacers in this postseason where he was that guy that just generated Rim pressure got the defense in rotation over and over again and he was key for that bench unit in Indiana as they were the highest scoring offense in the NBA and a big reason of that was for the bench so I’m hoping the Bulls have that Vision in their head for Josh gidas being that bench point guard who can just generate offense as we uh did get that report from woes she was saying this is you know the Lonzo ball replacement for the Chicago Bulls I don’t necessarily know if they’re looking at him as that but I think they’re looking at him as a 6 fo8 point guard who can you know beat guys off the dribble at a very high level and you know I am very curious to see how it’s going to look um when Lonzo does hopefully come back this upcoming season like will it be and giddy man in that bench unit you know I I really am just curious to see how that’s going to work out but you know I am starting to turn the corner on Josh giddy as you know a couple hours have gone by you know after this trade you know I was you know in shambles at first you know just cuz we traded Caruso as I’m a feeling or as I have a feeling most of you guys were upset as well as he was one of my favorite players to watch but you got a really good basketball player in Josh giddy who is just 21 years old keep that in mind 21 years old I am 24 years old and it’s incredible I’m 3 years older than this guy and he’s already got a ton of NBA experience and hey he was the six overall pick or yeah six overall pick in 2021 for a reason now we get into uh Zack ofine dear Nico vuvi and also Patrick Williams and just what could happen for those guys you know here this summer but I just want to ask you guys this how do you feel about Josh giddy how do you feel about the cruso trade give me your thoughts write me a paragraph down in the comment section I’m just uh trying to get a pull to the fan base on this and I’ll chop it up with you guys down there in the comments so let’s start off with Zack O so I did a video early on today um after we got the report from Casey Johnson that the Bulls have apparently uh floated out there 15 different trade proposals around Zack aen and he mentioned the Kings the Sixers and the magic and then he also added on the Utah Jazz to that mix so I think either of those four teams could be in the conversation the Lan Zack ofine but the team I keep going back to is the San Antonio Spurs like I really think they’re going to be really aggressive this off season think they’d go all in on an elite scoring guard and you know the biggest concern for other NBA teams when trading for LaVine all I guess there’s two things I think it’s a contract number one and I think the Spurs are in a position with wemi still on his rookie deal they could you know form together a title Contender with Zack Leen and wemi so I think they are a team that can you know take on that contract and not feel the ramifications in comparison to other teams and another big concern for LaVine is um you know the uh you know the on the court stuff like the defense the leadership well you bring him to San Antonio and the Spurs culture they have I just can’t get this out of my head that I feel like we’re going to be getting that notification that the Spurs are trading for Zack O and then everybody’s going to freak out the story is going to be around you know how good can the Spurs be next season but if you could somehow take the protections off that pick you have next year as it is a top 10 protected pick and then if it doesn’t convey it does go to the San Antonio Spurs so hopefully you know the bus can perform a Zack ofine trade is I think that’s the next big move that could be happening now let’s talk about demard Ro in here um you know obviously is a free agent but I think it’s more likely than not that the Bulls could perform a sign and trade and a team that’s in my head is you know what about like the team like the New York Knicks you know with dear and you know first quickly on dear I just want to say that he has been fantastic for the Bulls there is no negative you know connotation I have around his time in ch as he has been Stellar just you know on and off the court like off the court really quickly like I think he has more to do with the development of guys like Kobe white and I dumo than the Bulls actual Player Development staff like I think you can chalk that up to Demar D rozan instead of you know the coaches on this Bull’s roster so you know I think a team like the Knicks could be interested in Demar maybe a team like the Warriors as well is also I think they could be interested in Zack ofine so it would be curious to see how the handle dear but also I could see Chicago like with after this move I could see them you know trading LaVine trading V and then also keeping dear as just that veteran leader in that locker room if they do want to shift towards that youth movement I think that could be incredibly valuable as well and plus he he should have won clutch player of the year he’s still one of the best closers we have in the league now let’s talk about V at all cost that’s all I’m gonna say at all costs you move off Nicole vuvi um you know you look at the numbers you’re like well why would you you want to trade a guy like that 18 points 10 and a half rebounds pretty efficient as well and I understand all that but I just still think with how poor he is defensively he is still a net negative out there on the basketball court and you know V is one of those guys he’s going to average 18 and 10 for the rest of his career cuz he is a talented basketball player but a team I could see swinging a trade for V what about the thunder what if we hit back up OKC and we say hey we’ll give you the 12th overall pick or we say hey we’ll give you V for the 12th overall pick I could see OKC taking that could also see a team like the Sacramento Kings as they reported that they would be interested potentially in Nico vuvi so I could see them getting involved but you know no matter what happens I would just really hope the Bulls you know just do whatever it takes to move off him because I think Vu is one of those guys he is he is Mr NBA Purgatory where he will keep you good enough to be right there around that playing tournament but he also he’s not bad enough where you won’t be drafting you know top five in the NBA draft and if you guys don’t know this class coming out next year is absolutely stacked there’s two guys on Duke uh Cooper flag and I’m sleeping on the other guy’s name but he’s 7 foot2 can shoot the three ball really really well literally looks like a shorter shorter at 7 foot2 Victor wanyama but you know no matter what the Bulls do moving forward if they could move off V it would be absolutely massive and then also Patrick Williams I have been in this Camp I want to bring back pdb no matter what and I understand bu fans you know he hasn’t lived up to that fourth overall pick hype I understand but you know let’s just say the Bulls are moving towards this youth movement where they want to have a bunch of younger players on this team and maybe they’re not going all in like they have in years past on winning this upcoming season and you know let’s just say they do move off tomorrow they do move off a I could see Patrick Williams being that guy instead of Kobe white and I dumo this past season it would be pu dub taking that next step because you know I made this argument last year on the show the number one way to help develop your players is to just give them more opportunities and with where demard de r rozan or with demard r rozan and Zack ofen on the perimeter most of those shots and usage went to them well let’s switch it up let’s have it go to Patrick Williams have him truly play that three position which I think is when he is at his best obviously you know there are some stats out there that suggest he is better at the four but I think he is more of a three and plus you guys got to look at the Eastern Conference right now look at the Boston Celtics they got Jaylen Brown Jason Tatum there’s some really good wings out there and you need Wings to win in the NBA and he is one of those guys where he is going to go to another team and he will be successful it would be similar to Lori marinin so I no Bulls fans you know we’re out on you know Patrick Williams maybe just because he hasn’t lived up you know to that hype of being the fourth pick but I’d take a chance on him again I’d run it back um with p duub and hopefully he turns out to be your three of the future but you got another guy in Josh giddy now who’s going to be a Cornerstone of this franchise AO Kobe white hopefully Patrick Williams and you got to throw Josh giddy’s name in there as well but you guys let me know I’m curious after that Alex cruso trade do you
