you’re listening to the New York Sports show the number one all New York Sports podcast hosted by Dominic koreski we are officially in the off season and with that contract extension talks for the New York Knicks and Tom Tibido is something that needs to be done now the way that coaches contracts are work in these days it looks like Tibido could ask for an easily get north of 10 million he has undoubtedly been the most successful head coach for the Knicks since the Jeff Van Gundy days you could even say that he has been better than what Van Gundy did for the Knicks organization Tom Tibido is undoubtedly one of the biggest factors as to why the Knicks came out of mediocrity out of obscurity into a legitimate Championship contending team he has brought the Knicks to the playoffs in all except one of his Seasons at the helm and we could all agree if it wasn’t for injuries the Knicks would have gave Boston a run for their money cuz they would have defeated the Pacers heck the Knicks could have been holding up the finals trophy with a defending Championship going into next season this was a legitimately Championship contending New York Knicks team the injuries just got the best of them New York simply cannot afford to lose Tom Tibido especially when they have been through a Floy of head coaches over the past 10 15 years is Tom Tibido to the New York Knicks is like peanut butter and jelly at this point and losing Tom Tibido would be undoubtedly a massive blow to the organization and in my opinion would be a very big step backwards as well
