second one 2021 was that really impacted by Co I mean they played a full 8 82 games and fans were in the stands that was not impacted by Co people just didn’t watch okay but anyway those the only two that featur our L low ratings and this year’s finals was the least watched since 2007 when the San Antonio Spurs Cleveland Cavaliers Series Drew 9.29 million viewers wow as a whole the 2024 NBA playoffs were down significantly from 2023 according to uh Sports media launch this year’s playoffs average a 2.4 rating and 4.53 million viewers wow down 11% and 12% respectively from 2023 the NBA playoffs are 2.4 rating wow I’m stunned by that guys I’m absolutely stunned by this yeah now check this out NBA Central puts out uh pretty much the same thing but uh chess’s Out Sports Media Watch also says nonetheless the finals has now gone five years without a single game hitting the 14 million Mark a figure that not even the World Series has reached uh more recently game sits in 2021 they can’t even get 14 million people to watch a single NBA Finals game yeah this is horrible man this is absolutely horrible horrible now look here ever since 2020 the kneeling in the bubble 2020 they got a average of a four rating right there a four then it went to 5.2 then it increased to 6.6 and those still not good guys that 6.6 is the highest then it dropped to 6.1 now it’s dropped to 5.8 and before all the kneeling look at this here the ratings were 8 8.8 10 11.3 11.4 9.3 10.4 you had almost 20 million people watching in 2015 and right the year before when um the Raptors won the NBA finals against the Warriors remember that Warriors team they fell they fell apart healthwise you had 15 million people watching 14 million 18 million the closeout game [Music] [Music] 18.34% even you know the KOB and sha Lakers also as well I mean Michael Jordan um his final game 36 million people watched that game when he won a six title we’re to to the point now guys to where 12 million people maybe watching 11 million I mean game four that was actually in Dallas 9.6 it’s 2 million yeah but the NBA this is what they wanted man they wanted to get woke in 20120 and now they’re paying the price now they’re paying the price I guess you know they’re lucky they’re lucky they got all that money from those networks now on this new deal yeah they got their money but they ain’t getting their I also think the difficulty of watching anything these days is way too high. More so than some of these points, I don’t have TV anymore and even with Disney+ I can’t watch games on ABC, a Disney owned company. I didn’t watch because I’m not jumping through hoops to watch it as a slightly above casual basketball fan who pulls for the Celtics.
I stopped watching all sports and found more useful things to do than watch these undeserving and overpaid people.

That why Harden will drop 45 and win the game for 76ers one night, then when all the money goes to Harden's box score and 76ers to win the next game, Harden goes 1-3 and 8 points, 5 turnovers. These players don't die with losses like The Mamba did.

It is not basketball anymore, it is basically a 3point context with no defense for 82 games. Then you might get lucky and see a few decent play off games but that's pretty much it. All star game has become a farce, players don't compete anymore, mid range or post game have disappeared, teams tanking hard to get picks. If changes are not made this is the next baseball in the makings.
Fans tuned out after game one when the refs were rigging the game against Luka, NBA didn’t want to make him the face of their league or the next Larry Bird in Larry Bird’s town.
NBA also makes it very hard for fans to watch games live.
