From what I read from some Jazz fans, he basically did not take a leap with anything compared to his rookie season so he has been seen as disappointing.

I think this rumour is real. I’m high on Kessler too.
The intel on him is a little concerning. It sounds like there is significant disagreement between him and his dad in terms of his skillset and what he needs to work on, versus what the team wants him to do. Apparently that’s what led to his bad sophmore year.
I don’t think any of us can have a real opinion about if this is a good idea or not because we don’t know the back room stuff which is the most important factor here.
