His contract is huge and plus he is injured most of the time.. he will make over 45M every year and 48M in his last year. They have to package Caruso in order to move LaVine. Or the Bulls can stay with him.

Kings actually don't want Zach, but we do want Caruso. Monk is a free agent and can't be involved in a trade and Sac would rather keep Monk than trade for Lavine. If the Bulls are good with Lavine and 43 mill contract that continues to escalate next 2 years.

Bulls get: Barnes, Huerter, Lyles (money filler), Kings 13th pick in this weak draft, a future 1st round draft pick unprotected between 20-30 range and a future 2nd round draft pick between 35-45 range.
Kings get: LaVine and Caruso
Fair deal for both parties.
We take it but we keep AC. And you can have Jevon Carter instead.

Bro, do your research before making a podcast, the Kings have the 13th pick Zach Lavine makes around 45 Mil a year for the next three years, adding Alex Caruso would be the only way to make it worth the money.

I came across this after the deal with the Thunder of Giddey for AC…. laughing my behind off at what you guys thought the value of AC was… even I had him over valued… Giddey is not good… and he gets the cant shoot stigma…

Monk back in Sacramento on 4 year contract
As a Kings fan I can't see Lavine being a good trade for the Kings. Luckily looks like Monk is resigning. Seemed like they were worried they'd have to replace him so they looked at Lavine.
But the guy is making $40 million and he only played like 25 games last year. He has $175 million left on his contract for 4 more years. He shot near career low percentages last year. And as far as I understand it he's not considered much of a defender.
The Bulls need to get his contract off the books. I think that's why Caruso and Lavine were talked about together because Caruso sweetens Lavine.
If we had traded for Lavine we might be stuck with a injury prone guy with a horrible contract during Fox and Sabonis' prime years. But maybe they see things differently.
Also I think we are selling super low on Huerter (25 y/o) who shot 40% from 3 for us the year before last and helped us make the playoffs. I want to see more of what he can do when not injured under Mike Brown.
