🚨 JJ REDICK IS OFFICIALLY THE LAKERS NEW HEAD COACH

the Los Angeles Lakers just hired a podcaster to be their new head coach that’s right it was just announced that the Los Angeles Lakers have officially hired NBA veteran JJ reck who has never coached in the NBA before this move comes after Adrien wowski reported that the Lakers offered back-to-back National Champion Dan Hurley a $70 million contract to be the franchise’s new head coach but after he declined it seems like Shams was correct in his initial report that the Lakers were looking into JJ reic this move is also interesting because if you remember correctly JJ reick and LeBron James have a podcast together called mind the game so it’s making fans wonder whether or not the podcast will continue in the middle of JJ reck’s coaching tenure reic may have not been a superstar during his professional career but he made the playoffs in 13 of the 14 Seasons he’s played he has experience playing underneath coach Mike Shashi and Laker fans are hoping that he’s an upgrade over Darvin H so if his coaching career is anything like his playing career then it won’t matter

The Los Angeles Lakers have made a surprising move by hiring NBA veteran and podcaster JJ Redick as their new head coach. This decision comes after pursuing Dan Hurley, who declined the offer. With Redick’s extensive playoff experience and background playing under Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Lakers fans are hopeful for a successful coaching tenure. Will his partnership with LeBron James on the “Mind the Game” podcast continue amidst his coaching duties

  1. JJ is an unproven coach with nothing to lose and everything to gain. This is an alright choice, and I'm interested in seeing how this goes because no seasoned coach understandably wanted this job.

  2. Horrible decision
Especially since Monty Williams just got fired from the pistons
They should of easily picked him up
He already lead a team of Devin, cp3, and ayton to the finals
He would've did a good job for the lakers

  3. I don’t mind the people hating in the comments cause everyone acting like they know basketball but most of the media people from ESPN and FS1 are such haters it’s kinda sickening… can’t wait till JJ actually does a good job.

  4. If you know anything about basketball, you would know he’s a basketball genius and has a career 42% from the 3 point line. I rather have former players coach than some random dudes.
