CRAZY Raptors Trade Details REVEALED… – Major Team Canada Update | Raptors News

crazy Raptor’s trade details have been revealed as Pascal seak was in a ton of trade reports and rumors last season it felt like the kings were favorites to land Pascal seak for a large chunk of the year now we know why those talks fell through and we also have a major Team Canada update and specifically some guys that are very disappointed with the results of the training camp invite list including Toronto Raptor Chris buet and this list might be controversial to some especially where few notable names NBA guys did not make the roster and some guys that are playing overseas in different areas did so lots of stuff to dive into Sinker teeth into with this one so let’s dive in the first topic of discussion first thing we’re taking a look at is crazy Raptor trade details being revealed now last season if you were following the Toronto Raptors the biggest storyline was obviously what’s what was going to happen with ogn and Obi Pascal cakam would they stay would he get extend it well Pascal cakam just got his big extension just got his big deal from the Indiana pce and that was the deal the Trona Raptors didn’t want to offer him so happy for Indiana happy Pascal got his money but we a lot of us thought a lot of us were taken back a little off caught off guard that the Indiana Pacers were the team to actually land Pascal cakam because the Kings felt like they had a better trade package some different assets they could offer and maybe not have more of a need for Pascal but we’re in a lot more rumors for Pascal cakam last season so a lot of people were confused why Pascal cakam one didn’t end up getting traded there in two was pretty adamant in reports that he wouldn’t play for Sacramento well recent reports have come out that reveal the details going on with that situation and Sam emic revealed that the way it was framed to him in an attempt to drive down what it would take to get him so the asking price the deal you know for Pascal cakam they made some gossipy type feedback on his game and it ended up getting back to him so essentially translate to clarify what Sam emic is saying in this report is in the negotiation process to acquire Pascal cakam the Sacramento Kings front office their general managers whoever’s out there just we’re spreading rumors about how bad Pascal siakam’s game is why it wasn’t working out and you know just got you know roasting his game talk and smack and then that smack talk got sent back to Pascal cakam which makes sense he’s why he’s pretty adamant about not resigning with Sacramento because again we saw reports during the season this came out you know around the trade deadline time that seak reportedly told the Kings he would not resign after the season which is what ended Trey talks with the Toronto Raptors Sacramento had a proposal primarily built around Harrison Barnes and draft capital and basically they just took it off the table because Pascal seak was unwilling now a lot of us at the time believed that this was because the Toronto Raptors you know Pascal seak wanted to stay with the team wanted to stay with this Raptor group be a guy that you know was a lifetime Raptor and that was kind of the narrative that was spread to a lot of torona raptor fans and one of the reasons he didn’t want to go to Sacramento and I’m sure he did definitely want to stay with this team but the fact that he was so adamant not going to Sacramento but was willing to be more open to an extension with the Indiana Pacers you know say I’d resign here and give them more of a I don’t want to say a guarantee but more of assurance that he won’t just bolt in free agency that makes sense in terms of why he wouldn’t go to Sacramento cuz frankly Sacramento is a good team they have a good squad he would have fit in roster WI really well on that squad on that roster but uh you know Sacramento’s nice as well I’ve said on a few BS I’ve been to Sacramento gets trash on as a city but it’s a it’s a cool spot but uh you know Pascal seaka ended up going to the Pacers in the rest is history but pretty crazy the king’s front office kind of shocking that they’d go out there and just bad mouth a guy that they’re trying to acquire trying to go after while you know he would be a free agent you know weird weird stuff there from the sacel Kings their front office it felt like it’s feels like they’ve turned around a little bit in recent years but they’re still the Sacramento Kings that’s just kind of how it goes can’t get that out of your blood but we have a major Team Canada update that we have to really dive into because again the Olympics are this summer and Team Canada are not the favorites they’re not the squad that’s going out there and projected to beat the USA to beat some of the other you know juggernauts maybe we would be second in terms of a number of NBA guys definitely with the caliber we of guys that we have at the top of our roster but we do have a really good shot we have a really solid team a strong roster and now that roster has been revealed in terms of the list of guys that are going to be in this training camp so you know we can read them out here in terms of the NBA guys the notable ones nil Alexander Walker RJ Barrett you know Ken Burch former Toronto Raptor oosa brette you know Dylan Brooks who was a monster for us during those uh during those FEA qualifiers you know Lou Dort Zack Edy who maybe future trono Raptor himself former Orlando Magic guy Melvin edum you know sheay gild just Alexander we have uh Trey ly knocking down the big man and played played some NBA action Jamal Murray Andrew namard Kelly o linck Dwight Powell and we got the scrub Brothers as well as Andrew Wiggins so that’s an interesting list now we already discussed how Corey Joseph was left off of this group left out of these training camp invites which was a bit of a shock to a lot of people because again Corey Joseph’s been a lifer for the teen candidate basketball has been with the squad year in year out as he mentioned again while he was not didn’t have NBA contracts while he was risking injury to play for his country risking his NBA career to go out there and try to get us in a position to get to the Olympics to get to a spot so Cory Joseph who again I read our comment section people were talking like he’s completely uh a geizer out there he’s only 32 years old played in the NBA this season still a guy that could have at least been invited to training camp but didn’t end up being the case and Cory Joseph isn’t on that list Tristan Thompson isn’t on that list again he’s kind of on his way out of the NBA as well but another dude that’s played for Team Canada a lot I know he’s a dramatic name a guy that people like to roast on giv the Kardashian stuff the LeBron stuff you know the weird quotes the the east or the East runs through Cleveland after LeBron James left yada yada y Tristan Thompson no one’s really talking about his him not getting the invite to this uh training camp but you know it is what it is especially with the Toronto Raptors the Toronto Raptors team Canada does need some bigs out there in the front Court to to compete on the International stage but one guy that is no notably uh removed in terms of a dude talent-wise should definitely be there as Chris buet and he had a lot to say basically coming out on his Instagram and saying no comments you know I’m one of one you can see it’s a bit small in terms of text down there at the bottom but Chris vé making Instagram stories about not being selected for this team candidate group and I’m a bit in there’s two sides of the story I see a lot of people coming out there and bashing Chris buet here now is on my screen behind me and saying hey you never played for Team Canada in the past you weren’t in the qualifying tournaments even when Nick nurse was the coach you you’re Raptor’s coach why on Earth would they pick you here now at this point and I get that argument but the Raptors I keep saying the Raptors whenever I talk about team can Team Canada needs bigs and yes we have Kelly oen who is really solid a really great International Center Zach EDI there’s question marks defense but could be an interesting piece in the front court for this team but other than that you know looking at the de dep of this roster in terms of bigs we have a lot of guards you know Kem bur is also a player that hasn’t been in the NBA recently you know Chris bu is a more valuable piece than him you know I know he’s dealing with an injury and stuff to close out the year Trey LS is also a big but bue could block some shots he was the defensive player of the year and the g- league in years past so I mean Chris bue could be valuable to this team candidate crew so for him not to get the invite to not get the the call to at least try out if he was interested you know if you’re not taking Cory Joseph if you’re not Bing TT I mean if you’re going for the best possible team out there why not invite him cut him after training camp see how it goes see how the fit goes and maybe you know they’re talking to head case in the locker room or whatever the heck’s going on because he didn’t play I don’t know I I don’t buy all that for Chris bue there’s all that narrative and all that talk regarding bu but honestly with the Toronto Raptors he’s been out for long stretches you know not dnp coaches decisions and then would come out in games and be a really effective player would play his heart out you know would be a hustler would take his shots still have that confidence so I’m sure if he was uh you know a utility player for Team Canada he wasn’t wouldn’t cause up too much of a stink out there on the bench for Team Canada so I’m just confused by this one maybe he burned some bridges you Hur some relationships in his uh discussions with Team Canada stuff in the past I don’t really know the behind the-scenes stuff on that situation but the fact that he’s making Instagram post clearly means he wanted to play on this roster play on this team for the Olympics but I don’t know it is what what it is I uh I trust Rowan uh Rowan Barrett you know RJ Barrett’s dad and picking a team I think he scored 100 points in college that was the big thing everyone used to say TK action back in the day but uh no that’s uh that’s how that stuff goes but folks
