Jimmy Butler ‘will be’ traded?: 5 possible landing spots

Butler is great, but is it worth breaking up the team? https://bvmsports.com/2024/06/21/jimmy-butler-will-be-traded-5-possible-landing-spots/

Break up a team for a small window of success?

    I don’t like it

I wouldnt be against a Straight up trade for Randle with the same salary . No other players though or picks .

Either one this year even with our injuries would have made the difference

Randle for Butler makes sense. Butler is a big time proven playoff performer, better passer, better defender and gives Brunson legit help. He also provides OG insurance, but if both are healthy come playoff time that would be an amazing frontcourt.

wanted jimmy when he first went to the sixers. he can go elsewhere 🙏🏽

Butler is OLD by nba standards. He will experience injuries and lose mobility. Randle for Butler is unconscionable. He is near the end of his career

Bruh no one wants a guy who talks big shit like he has 5 rings and is the next coming of jordan he can go to the pistons we good.

Terrible trade idea, we aren’t playing Jimmy at PF full time and we have nobody but Randle on the roster that can score from the post. Plus DiVo is a key piece on a team-friendly contract. If he leaves it forces Deuce into the starting lineup leaving our bench completely useless

Brunson, Deuce, OG, Jimmy, IHart is MAYBE a slight improvement on our starting 5 if we make it work, but overall the team is worse.

I doubt the Heat want Mitch, but the trade we should be making is him + Bogi’s money + all the picks. We shouldn’t and won’t be looking to send out key pieces, not for an aging guy like Jimmy.

Butler for a Katz Deli Pastrami sandwich and it’s a deal!

I’m not 100% out on trading Randle but if we’re going to, then it needs to be a 3/4 that provides a *real* shooting/spacing upgrade. Butler doesn’t improve us there and is 34.

This is star chasing for the sake of star chasing. 90 percent of NBA teams don’t do this
