Celtics after beating Miami Heat without Jimmy Butler the Cleveland Cavaliers without Jared Allen and Donovan Mitchell and the Pacers without Tyrese halberton made their way to the finals to take on the Mavericks the Mavericks certainly had a tougher road to the finals But ultimately they overachieved I certainly believed but I shouldn’t have is going to be a dog fight every game’s going to be close but I got to give the edge to Luca and Kyrie coach kid is on a mission now people can say that Boston was gifted an easy road to the finals but at the beginning of the Season we all thought they were going to be there anyway but as the season went on game after game they proved that they were the best team in basketball they put together a dominant starting five of Drew holiday Derek white Jaylen Brown Jason Tatum and Chris davs porzingis on paper maybe the greatest starting five of all time an argument could be made now the Boston bench wasn’t anything spectacular let’s be real but they certainly had enough to get them over the hump and have Boston win their first championship since 2008 it’s kind of been a long time the good brother Jaylen Brown won Finals MVP despite Jason Tatum leading his team in points rebounds and assist all series long but I guess in the eyes of Voters Jaylen Brown was more consistent all series averaging 20 points five rebounds five assists and Elite defense on the other end very much deserving of this Finals MVP and now if I may I got to get a few jokes off on Jason Tatum first JT hit the Kevin Garnett anything is possible but he put his own spin on it adding a little kamla Harris we did it Joe it’s a surreal feeling we did it we did it and he’s been getting killed for that on Twitter all week long JT then dropped the classic what they going to say now as if Steph Curry didn’t do it first and Angel Reese didn’t do it next and they both did it better then he was asked what his 5-year-old son Duce said to him after winning the finals I guess I’m more curious what did Duce say to you he told me that was the best in the world I said you damn right out here I mean JT must have thought that hope by twisting Faith Evans was about to play after he said that he told me that was the best in the world I said you damn right on here this ain’t that chief he was then seen in the locker room posing with Larry O’Brien the same way that Kobe and Michael did all those times that they won Rings because Jason Tatum celebrated his NBA championship like everyone but Jason Tatum oh and at the club after they won Jason Tatum took the mic and hit us with the Kanye West JT I’mma let you finish but Paul Pierce still has the greatest finals run in Celtics history but in all seriousness Jason Tatum is one of the greatest young players in the league now he’s an NBA champion he has nothing to prove to anybody so brother just do you but the real team at fault right now is was the Golden State Warriors who beat these Boston Celtics in 2022 and ultimately showed them exactly what not to do so that they could win an NBA title Derek white needed to shave his head in order to unlock his powers and if that wasn’t bad enough the Mavs Tred to take his teeth too Drew holiday went from a championship caliber team in Milwaukee to briefly being terrified about spending the entire season in Portland and then finally Boston saved them paid the man and he repaid them by winning an NBA championship and being an exactor on both ends all season long not to mention the good brother Chris dasp porzingis who’s battled injuries his entire career but seemingly found a home in Boston when he was on the court he contributed on both ends and he did exactly what he needed to do in order to secure a championship for Boston and he did it over his old team in Dallas KP you got to feel good about that one now I’m sure people are going to continue to try and break up the Tatum Brown connection but those Brothers seem to really get along really appreciate each other on the court and something tells me that the Boston Dynasty is going to be formidable for years years to come I’m just looking forward to having a shot to take them down Joe moula on the other hand seemingly couldn’t care less that they just won the championship because that psychopath of an NBA coach is probably already looking forward to next season which to be honest I kind of respect also fun fact about Joe moua did y’all realize that him and Kyrie Irving were in the same draft class the NBA is so goddamn poetic and finally you know what I got to show some love to Jaylen Brown this dude was the butt of every joke every meme across the internet all off seon because he couldn’t go left the Celtics weren’t his team it belonged to Jason Tatum he didn’t deserve the money that he was getting in his contract blah blah blah blah blah but you know what he did after his historic contract and becoming the highest paid player in the league he responded to the haters by Leading his team to the best record in the NBA winning Eastern Conference Finals MVP finals MVP and bringing home an NBA championship to Boston for the first time since 2018 easily proving that he’s worth every penny of that contract that Boston gave him and that the Celtics May in fact be his team I mean he was there first JT it’s only fair so at this point show my man Jaylen Brown some respect he deserves it but with respect and admiration for your accomplishments Boston just kidding kind of the NBA draft and the NBA free agency are up next so stick with me all summer
