Miami Heat Nation what is going on so here we go again back with the Jimmy Butler trade rumors a lot of people think Jimmy Butler will be traded um on some ESPN shows all over the Internet you know they were pretty much asking like What star do you think will be traded and everybody keeps saying it’s Jimmy Butler now in this article it says Jimmy Butler will be traded Rivals Executives has been buzzing about it for months for all the obvious reasons buler is about to turn 35 with a lot of hard miles and a lot of injuries Howard Beck when ask who will be the biggest star to change teams this summer now I will say I met Howard Beck he’s a very very good dude do I believe this no not at all um I just think a lot of people are just going with their assumptions they’re just going with what they want right now because there’s not much to talk about because the season’s over and there’s always going to be a star in the move and there’s always going to be unexpected star in the move that’s what the NBA it happens you know TR already started with Caruso and stuff like that um but yeah like I don’t think Jimmy Butler will get traded this season right there is some big questions though like you said his age and injury-prone I want to say injury prone but when you’re around this age your body tends to break down and Jimmy Butler can’t play a 70 Game season he just can’t and that’s why he doesn’t try in the regular season because he can’t he could do it for a little bit but if he wants to be 100% or like 90 or 80 or 70 for the playoffs he can’t try during the regular season and I think that’s a huge huge problem for a player that’s getting paid a lot of money these are Jimmy Butler’s numbers from the season that just passed by in the season before if you notice Jimmy’s around the 50 to 60 mark and it says those are the games he played but the games he tried are probably way lower than that this has always been a Jimmy problem always High minutes a regular player in the regular season that turns into a superstar in the postseason last year it’s 20 points a game five rebounds and five assists I think the problem is and why people are starting to turn on Jimmy is that we are playing Team once again and then you got hurt because you didn’t try some of the games that we needed if you just tried we would have easily been a top six seat we lost big games against Indiana and and Philly those are playoff games and you were no show I get it you did get hurt in Philly but this this is why people are willing to trade you then obviously you got stuff like this the biggest question facing the Miami Heat is where whenever they offer Jimmy a full threeyear $13 million contract extension he made it clear that he wants to sign the extension this summer but Pat Riley came out and they’re going to wait they’re going to wait on this and I think it’s a smart move to wait on this there’s no point I need to see you play a season of you actually trying being out there and we’re no longer a playing team because there’s no way we’re playing playing team with Jimmy bam and Tyler it’s really just simple as that and then when you want to go into the the the needy of it look how much he’s going to paid $48 million $52 million and then if he gets the extension it’s going to be more he’s 36 37 in the 2026 2027 season you don’t want to be paying a player that much money for a player that doesn’t really try so big conversations going on do I Believe Jimmy will be traded no but it’s the NBA and so wouldn’t be surprised but let me know what you guys think if more Mii
