MASSIVE Update On Hartenstein’s New Contract… | Knicks News

we have a major update about Isaiah hartenstein and his new contract with the Knicks as most of us already know multiple teams are targeting iHeart looking to add him to their roster however according to multiple NBA insiders they finally help reveal the contract that Isaiah hartenstein wants and according to them he’s looking for a long-term contract and that’s very good news for the Knicks we’re going to break down these latest reports and so much more today if you’re not already subscribed to the channel go ahead and hit that subscribe button now and make sure you have notifications turned on so you don’t miss a second of the new content and now let’s get started Isaiah hartenstein prefers a long-term contract if you’re the Knicks you have to be happy with that report one of the priorities for the Knicks going into this offseason is resigning OG an anobi and resigning Isaiah hartenstein Mitchell Robinson going down during our season basically was a death nail to the Knicks we didn’t know what to expect and we definitely didn’t think we were going to reach all the way to the second seed of the Eastern Conference Finals insert iHeart Everything Changes not only did he Step Up in Mitchell Robinson’s absence he thrived he became the starting center we always needed he gave gave us the defense that Robinson gives us not the same level but still a very good degree of it but he also gives us offense his floater shot inside the paint is getting very good and with that type of offense it draws Defenders near him which allows the paint to open up a little bit for your drivers in Julius Randall and of course your superstar in Jaylen Brunson bringing him back is the most important thing and thanks to these latest reports from these NBA insiders they help conf irm that iHeart is exactly looking for a long-term extension according to Fred Kats of the athletic he States Haren Stein’s preference according to League sources is to find the long-term security not high risk High reward instability that’s why the Knicks are a perfect fit for him this off season if hartenstein were to resign the Knicks would intend to keep him as the starter moving forward the rest of the league seems to view him as a first Stringer too even if he’s played that role only for a season I know a lot of Nick fans were wondering they were curious if Robinson and iHeart were both healthy would Robinson start over iHeart next season or would hartenstein still start well thankfully we have our answer if the Knicks bring back iHeart they do not intend to bring him back off the bench they intend for him to continue being the starting center that means Mitchell Robinson will continue to come off the bench in my opinion Mitch MIT Robinson Off the Bench your backup center having such a long history of injury concerns that’s a concern for me and that’s why in my opinion if the Knicks resign iHeart they should trade Mitchell Robinson to try to get another impactful player on this team because having a backup center that misses so many games it really doesn’t make sense to me what makes more sense to me is drafting a center that we can have back up iHeart back him up consistently and play major minutes just in case iHeart goes down with an injury or an illness or something like that the Knicks need to prepare for the future and drafting rookies like that is only going to help this team but when we’re talking about iHeart what potential deal will the Knicks offer him well thanks to Fred Katz he pulled some NBA Executives and we have the following information from him according to Katz a 2-year offer from the Knicks would max out at 33.7 million a threeyear won couldn’t be more than 52.4 million and a 4-year deal the longest contract the Knicks could offer hartenstein would be capped at 72.5 million the median and most common response given to cats from all the NBA Executives he pulled about iHeart basically stated that if they were the Knicks the top offer they would give ihart would be four years 72.5 million which again is the longest contract offer the Knicks can give iHeart anyways so now that we know that the longest contract the Knicks can offer Isaiah hartenstein is four years 72.5 million what if another team that’s interested in iHeart comes over the Nick’s head and offers him more money over a year-to-year basis will he run toward the money or will he stay loyal to the Knicks the funny part is hartenstein has been in this position before when he was with the Clippers and during that time he was going to choose to stay with the Clippers even if it meant giving up a lot of money in the process shout out the Fred catch of the athletic for giving us the following information according to him Isaiah hartenstein stated that had the Clippers offered him the mid-level exception he would have stayed even though he could have made more elsewhere and if you were wondering what teams could potentially be interested in adding iHeart to their roster this off season according to cats teams with meaningful caps space this summer include the Philadelphia 76ers the Detroit Pistons the Oklahoma City Thunder the Utah Jazz and possibly the Charlotte Hornets though not all of these franchises would enter the sweep Stakes for Isaiah hartenstein when push comes to shove it’s clear Isaiah hartenstein is going to focus on loyalty he’s going to focus on the people that helped him get here that helped him become a starter that’s the Knicks that’s not all of these other teams and looking at those other teams that actually have cap space and potentially could add iHeart during this off season let’s take a look at that list again the 76ers they have Joel embiid they are not going to add iHeart next the Detroit Pistons Detroit you think that iHeart would leave his winning situation in New York to go to Detroit next Oklahoma City Thunder now this one is the only team on the list that fears me just a little bit because if you look at Oklahoma City they can give iHeart basically everything the Knicks can give him the only thing is maybe you have to question whether he would start or not because in my opinion I think CH should be the power forward and if they add iHeart and pay him all that money he should start right alongside chat homr because in my opinion having that as your front Court would be a very dynamic duo iHeart gives you those rebounds he gets you those blocks and CAD stretches that entire unit out that means as a defense when you’re trying to go against OKC you’re not going to know what to do iHeart gives you that and like I said his offense in the paint cannot be understated the fact that he can give you that floater shot in the paint it opens up lanes and if he was part of OKC imagine what OKC could do with open lanes given the level of talent they have on that roster SGA with more room to work with that sounds like a lethal combination that’s why for me they’re the only team you have to worry about but at least according to recent reports OKC wants to give Isaiah hartenstein more money but over the shortterm not a long-term contract and as we just heard his preference is a long-term deal even if that means leaving a few million dollars on the table if they’re going to offer him 80 million or something like that over two three years and ihart can get four years 72 .5 million from the Knicks he’s going to stay with the Knicks because the dollar amount is not enough to make him want to leave his situation right now this is a winning situation not many teams are going to be able to pry away Isaiah hartenstein OKC is legitimately the only threat you take them out of the mix only New York makes sense for iHeart the Knicks right now when fully healthy with Isaiah Harin as part of the roster could potentially go all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals that means if add the right piece during this off season they could go all the way to the NBA finals that’s what I would call being one or two pieces away from contention that’s where the Knicks are right now iHeart is a very big piece to that the Knicks need to do everything in their power to retain him and sign him to a long-term contract to remain the starting center for this Knicks team and it sounds like that’s exactly what Leon Rose and this Nicks front office is going to do that’s their priority I understand other teams around the league want iHeart they might desire him they might like his skill set but too bad you had your chance a few years ago and you dropped the ball and where you dropped the ball the Knicks picked it up and we’re never dropping that ball again iHeart is part of this team he is a very special player he’s a key player for this roster and without him on this team the Knicks would struggle to try to fill that void we need to resign him the Knicks know that they’re going to do that four years 72.5 million book it that’s going to be isaah Haren Stein’s next contract with the Knicks and once it’s announced I’m going to be smiling from ear to ear because that’s a priority the Knicks need to handle and once they take care of it they can move on to bigger moves better moves more impactful moves you know those Superstar trade type of moves that’s what I’m waiting for but we have to do it step step by step first iHeart then OG anobi potentially jayen Brunson and then we’re looking at the coaching Tom Tibido once we have all of that ironed out we’re then going to look at what targets potentially could be available for a trade Leon Rose knows exactly what he’s doing he has been leading this Nick ship the right way since he took over as president of basketball operations and this off season is his time to shine all of the assets that we have the contracts that we have the players that we have ask yourself this question you don’t think Leon Rose is going to make another major move the only question that should be on your mind is what player the Knicks are going to trade for just be patient in wait because sooner or later Leon Rose is going to show his hand and we’re going to see exactly who the Knicks are going to go after but what about you guys what do you think about these recent reports indicating that Isaiah Haren Stein’s preference is to have long-term security and get a long-term contract let me know in the comments Below guys because honestly I would love to hear from you but that’s going to do it for this episode I hope you enjoyed it and if you did go ahead and smash that like button leave a comment below and of course guys please subscribe to the channel until next time Nick fans peace

Re-signing Isaiah Hartenstein is one of the main priorities for the Knicks this offseason. With a number of important decisions to make, NY must lock down IHart to a new deal as soon as possible. Reports already indicate that multiple teams will target Hartenstein in free agency. Thankfully, recent reports indicate that Hartenstein prefers a long term contract, which is great news for NY. We also take a look at what several NBA executives believe Isaiah Hartenstein’s value currently is… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  1. Robinson isn't going anywhere. Everyone needs to stop looking at the money, and pay attention to the utility that is Robinson. Everyone is fawning over Hartenstein and his greatness, but he was literal lunch for Embiid. It wasn't Ihart that stood an actual chance of slowing him down. It was Mitch. So you are proposing getting rid of the guy that got injured by the player he was guarding because he was doing such a good job. There just isn't another center that is able to stand up to him who would play in the second unit. That's fact. You can say what you want about availability, but he came back early because he was needed. We don't get out the first round without him. The other piece is that they are great friends, and the team isn't going to pay one and sacrifice the other. Thirdly, you forget that he himself was injured for a stretch of games due to overuse. So let's not act like he's the only guy we need. The FO wants the tandem. Stop the slander.

  2. I remember seeing that he wanted to stay with the clippers for less bc he wanted a home. He only left bc they pulled the contract for John wall. I think he’ll want to stay

  3. THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT !!!! HARTENSTEIN IS A BEAST HES GONNA HAVE SOME CAREER IN N.Y LIFE LONG KNICK BABY !!! FINALLY WE HAVE A TEAM THAT WILL STAY AND BUILD SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.

  4. He has a nice touch he will get better and he can shoot but he haven’t expressed that much with this group but if he work on his middy and three ball whatttttt‼️ pay him keep building and let’s play ball 🏀

  5. The NYKs have to secure I Hart and work on getting the squad battle ready….if the front office does their thing the 2024-25 season is going to be a movie….watch.

  6. Hartenstein, "Stay Home" in NY 🍎🏡 it's safe, plus he can make more money 💰 in the big market city of NY.

  7. If your a true Knicks fan then you saw the roommates show when they had him on as a guest and he clearly said he was comfortable in LA and would of taken less money just to stay because he values that most. Clearly after the year he had in the greatest arena in the world you already know he's gonna do his part to stay comfortable exactly where he is… IHART IS A TRUE KNICK 💪🏽

  8. If Hartenstein start that works and keeps Mitch Rob fresh because hes injury prone……. so trading Mitch Rob doesn't make sense!? if he comes off the bench hes playing fewer minutes which keeps him fresh and potentially injury free for majority of season……. Drafting a young center doesn't help us

  9. I got nothing against Mr. Robinson. He’s a good center. He’s a good defense. He blocked shots, his is now up. He needs to be replaced if the Knicks are going pursue championship. He’s been hurt for years years years. You can’t win a championship or pursuit championship if you don’t have a healthy center.

  10. To me Hartenstein off the bench makes way more sense to me Hartenstein offense/passing will be needed with deuce/Donte/Hart/Boggy/
And OG and Mitch were meant to play together. Let’s not forget Mitch was playing like a defensive player of the year candidate.

  11. Keep boasting up I-Hart. He played well in a contract year. What will we get out of him when the chips are not all on the table? Say all you want about Mitch, but Embiid had I-Hart in Jail in the Philly’s series. Indiana players took the ball to the rack when I -Hart was on the floor. Take away Mitch, and watch Embiid wipe the floor with I-Hart in next season’s playoffs and I don’t want to hear any excuses. Sure Mitch gets hurt but this fan base wants to spend $40 Million a year on O.G who barely plays 60 games a season. This fan base is in for a rude awakening.

  12. I feel like having Mitch as a backup, put less of a physical stress on him which in theory, help keep in healthier throughout the season…

Prior to the emergence of I Hart, Mitch was counted on for the majority of minutes per game at the center position… as a backup, maybe 20min…. I think it’s a good combo.

  13. Adding Hartenstein along with Caruso, makes OKC a dangerous team. Not sure if Presti will be allowed to pay $20 million+ each for Caruso/Hartenstein especially when they have to pay Shai, Chet and Jalen Williams soon. I cant envision OKC wanting to go into the luxury tax.

Id offer Hartenstein 3 years and a 4th year player option.

  14. I've asked this before = why is Jericho Sims not considered in this conversation as a prospective backup. I recognize he's a work in progress, but height, age and athleticism is worth investing in his development. Why can't Hakeem Olajuwon mentor him like he has done in the past with other players? Does Hakeem still do that?

  15. What a fool after watching the Pacers running layup line on Hartenstine 65 points in the paint , and out rebounding us , we need Mitch or 1st round loss to Philly
