The bar can’t be any lower than Pockets the Clown’s infamous 0 touches in the 4th quarter.

I guess he wants him more involved on offense since he doesn’t think AD can hack it on defense

  3. If AD got the same amount of touches that embiid does then do y’all think he would be considered on the same or similar level as embiid? Part of me wants to say yes but at the same time AD can struggle against guys who are bigger than him

Isn’t this essentially just putting more pressure on AD? Hopefully JJ has something good for defense because AD was getting gassed playing both sides. AD might need a way more specific role on defense this year.

All good until he gets hurt and misses 40 games

He better tell AD to work on his offensive game esp since he can’t shoot like he used to

lets get him a center that can back him up too. or even switching him to power forward again

Yes, JJ has been criticizing AD for not showing up for two years. He went on a huge rant about how AD doesn’t perform even when fully healthy. So, naturally, as head coach, one of his primary tasks is getting Anthony Davis to be a consistent producer. Phrasing it as “elevating” AD’s involvement in the offense is a diplomatic version of Redick’s critique of AD.
