Jaylen Brown DISSES Stephen A Smith At Boston Celtics Championship Parade!

what’s going on there guys we back with another one and today we got to talk about Jaylen Brown shading Stephen A Smith at the Boston Celtics Championship parade and we know what happened a few weeks ago with Jaylen Brown and Stephen A Smith now for those that don’t know I’m going kind of read the tweets and everything that happened over the course of the last few weeks that Isaiah Thomas and Stephen A Smith were going back and forth what Jaylen Brown said back then and what he did in response to that but first we going to look at what Stephen A said this kind of sparked the whole thing and really got a rise out of Isaiah Thomas and Jaylen Brown as people Brown it’s not so much that he’s underrated it’s that he’s just not liked because of his quote I am better than you attitude he knows it it’s the same reason he is not as marketable as he should be that’s what an NBA Source just sent me so Isaiah Thomas spoke about Jaylen Brown he said I have been a friend mentor and advisor to Jaylen Brown since he was a student in UC Berkeley he is 100% marketable And before you slander his name at Stephen A Smith tell your source to put their name on it or don’t speak on it let it be known and so that was Isaiah Thomas initial response to Stephen A Smith so Stephen A in response he says I have no idea what you’re talking about Isaiah Thomas I have been a fan of Jaylen Brown for years still am what what’s unfortunate is that you who’s known me for decades would choose to go on X and express whatever dissent you feel instead of calling me directly but I get it it’s a pattern several folks have used versus me recently suddenly forgetting communication we’ve always had so be it I root for JB a great dude and player but the Celtics have to close the deal um Isaiah Thomas would then respond to that he says all love between you and I at Stephen A Smith let’s talk when time permits tell your source to stand on their words and not use you to throw their Stones so after that Jaylen Brown quoted a tweet with that video in it and says State your sources and so that leads us here a few weeks later you know the Boston Celtics celebrating their championship at the parade and jayen brown walks in with a shirt that makes a clear statement to Stephen A Smith MP boom [Applause] now I have my theories on why people coming at Jaylen Brown This Way first it was his support during uh Kyrie’s difficult time where he was speaking up for Kyrie and also when he showed up at the big three with the ice cube when other players was staying far away from it not even speaking about it let’s revisit that right quick I’m play today having some fun with Charity giv it back to the community and supporting that’s it well you found out J was playing what were you thinking I was blown away you know I was saying uh no asking was he sure he wanted to make this move he was like yo I want to do this for the game for the players and uh it’s a big move for the league so you know I’m excited you know this guy’s my hero right now definitely you guys do things on the court but also the mutual respect off the court what what keeps you guys keep continuing to do those type of things yes sir like this is amazing being in this environment shout out to London shout out to the O2 um excited to get back to charity excited to be a part of this and I appreciate you ex you hey man you know we blessed to be in a position when we can get back me being able to set the stage for the greatest athletes in the world hey man you know just call me the chef so we’ll see you in a Celtic jersey this year wait a minute now all right speaking of Jaylen Brown’s charitable work you see that school bus right there in the parade well that is a bunch of kids from the Bri bridge program that Jaylen Brown has up in the Boston Massachusetts area and they are able to enjoy this parade and be a part of it because Jaylen Brown gives back that much and he thought so much of them he wanted to include them in the parade got finals MVP got Eastern Conference MVP if this isn’t a marketable player then you just tell me what it is is it because he’s not a clown he’s not in the Tabloid all the time uh what are we defining as marketable right obviously you have to get butts and seats and different things like that but some of these things are beyond your control and some of the things that got you to the professional level don’t coincide with being the biggest Mega star you can’t really control that you know those people are kind of predestin like LeBron uh they grow into it like Steph you know with his style of play his come up at Davidson and stuff like that but I think Jaylen Brown as far as being an Allstar he’s trying to do everything he can you know I wish some of the other star although we weren’t uh Blown Away by Jaylen Brown’s dunks in the dunk contest by no stretch of the imagination he participated in that the biggest name that’s been in that in a while um went to the big three and I think that’s why some people throwing some dirt on his name even if Stephen n actually got that text it’s the tone around that and the tone around him standing up for Kyrie for his tweet about that film you know so um what are we really doing and and is all information that we get is it worth sharing on TV you know um he was marketable enough to say that about him on TV so obviously you know he doing something right man he’s not loow managing like a Kawai or nothing like that um again kawai’s wanton his titles but he kawai’s regular season accolades don’t match up to the player that he is you know what I’m saying he should have man that dude should have want an MVP or something you know at this point but obviously Zaza Pula put a monkey wrench in that and really messed his leg up but back on Jaylen brown man um like I don’t know what they want him to do he’s again he’s participating in a dunk contest something is on life support I really wish he had the ability to dunk like JN and Zion in them you know since he wanted to participate they may be talking about his um he seemed like he might be a introvert a little bit I I mean I don’t know but he he doesn’t do a lot of clown stuff out in public or he’s not always chasing the clout on social media so I mean like I don’t know what they mean by not marketable what I do know is they won a championship he won Eastern Conference MVP finals MVP was the best player for the Celtics throughout the playoffs and you know really took that challenge on Luca and that’s all you can ask for in a star player so is he a super mega star and face of the league guy no but is he the star that the Boston Celtics want right now absolutely man uh he’s marketable enough for them he’s going to be up there you know they they probably gonna look at him like Paul Pierce and them you know in the uh Legacy of of the Boston Celtics you know they and if they continue to win you know you and that’s the thing right you can continue to raise your star if you win winning is the thing that does that in the sport of basketball more than anything else you can keep winning you are you you’re the star you need to be I mean Tim Duncan was the star he needed to be for San Antonio was he Kobe globally and was he revered that way no did everybody want to play like Tim Duncan no but was he enough of a star in his NBA career for who he needed to be a star for absolutely so that’s I think that’s all I’m saying man um give Jaylen Brown some props some of the stances and things he’s done in his NBA career those things when we look back on it it it’ll look good I think some of the things like going to the big three game and stuff like that we’ll look back at that 15 20 years later and be like man you know what this dude was brave enough to do this at a time where it was frowned upon so to me Jaylen Brown good in my book but let me know what you guys think in the comments don’t forget to like share
