This is PERFECT…

This is PERFECT…

Sam pry has outdone himself once again going out and making a fantastic trade for this Oklahoma City Thunder organization this time exchanging Josh giddy who is a liability in the NBA Playoffs for Alex Caruso a two-time all-nba Defender and a guy that shoots at 41% from three now giddy the role it just never was going to open back up for him in Oklahoma City it was time to move on he averaged 8.7 points per game 3.6 rebounds on 45% shooting from the field 35% from three in 18 minutes a game in the playoffs was not going to work out now this new and improved lineup with Caruso alongside Lou Dort and then three legit 20 point per game options that is scary remember he averaged 10 points per game a career high 3.8 rebounds career high 3.5 assist career-high in 29 minutes per game this year for Chicago he is no longer a meme he is an Elite 3 andd Defender seen right here strapping up LeBron James I mean he pretty much goes out and guards the best offensive player on the other team night in and Night Out 47% shooting from the field 41% from three to go with 1.7 Steals and a block a game and he’s only in one year $10 million contract so it is expiring hopefully you can ink him up for a little bit longer though long-term deal now this is a perfect fit as I me as I mentioned with L Dort and Alex Caruso because you got Caruso Garden one guy and then you got Lou Dort who just set his career high for 39% shooting from three on the other one and this team is designed to take pick out some of these Western Conference teams with those onew punches at the guard spot Dort averaged 11 points 3.6 rebounds per game this year to go with his Elite defense and like I said just good luck scoring on this Duo right here um with Caruso on one side with Lou Dort on the other and then Shay goes Alexander at 66 is not really a slouch um L Dort clamped up Luca dones well not clamped but he did pretty solid against him uh Luca averaged 25 points 10 rebounds and nine assists per game against the Thunder in the playoffs um while shooting at 45% from the field 39% from three and he averaged 29 Points a game for the rest of the playoffs so you know held Four Points under his average I mean it’s not like Elite clamps but I mean against Luca it’s pretty good there is no solution to that man and then you got Kyrie Irving on the other hand so this Thunder team is now equipped to beat the Dallas Mavericks they add in a winning player and you’ve got two Elite Defenders and then you have the Firepower to go shot for shot with them they have the young big three like we said this is where your Firepower comes in we’ve already looked at your clamps on the wing now you have the Firepower with the perennial MVP candidate from now on for the next 10 years or so Shay goes Alexander who just come off of a year where he’s averaging 30 points per game 5.5 assist and 6.2 rebounds in 34 minutes a night he should be in Oklahoma City for quite some time they’ve already linked that extension um he should be here for the foreseeable future 54% shooting from the field for him as a 25-year-old really really good numbers and then he shot 87% from the free throw line people kind of know him as a free throw line Merchant he got there quite frequently and I mean he made him pay too consistent uh is Shay goes Alexander he said everything in his life is consistent and hey if it works it works he’s going to be an MVP candidate for the next 10 years hopefully all in Oklahoma City unless you know he wants to come on down to Charlotte now he’s got his buddy Jaylen Williams running with him one of the best young Wings in the NBA I mean in his second season in the league he just put up 19 points a game 4.5 rebounds four assists in 31 minutes of action tonight that that is crazy I mean you got this young big three you’re the best team in the west and now you’re just adding Elite pieces around them 54% shooting from the field and 43% from three we need to put a little bit more emphasis on that by the way insane efficiency and he was even better in the clutch as a 22y old 69 nice 69% from two-point range and 58% from three in the clutch crazy numbers again as a 22 yearold that is you don’t see that very often in the modern NBA but hey he’s a prototypical swing man these days and he gets the job done for OKC night in and night out perfect running mate for Chad and Shay for the next 10 years and then of course like we said Chad 21 years old the youngest of the three so Shay at 25 this season was the oldest by far but Chad just silenced all the doubs he just played in 82 games this season which is something a lot of people said he wouldn’t do especially coming off of the injury but 16 and a half points a game eight rebounds 2.4 assists per game in 29 minutes kind of shut all the haters up uh he was even better in the per 36 numbers but his efficiency was really really good 53% from the field 37% from three on five attempts as a rookie oh by the way also averaged 2.3 blocks a game protecting the rim and as I said earlier he only played 29 minutes a game per 36 he was even more dominant averaging 20 and 10 to go with three blocks per game my only thing about him is I worry about him with like bigger centers which is what we’re going to talk about later but yeah Chad great season let’s take a minute here make sure the like button leave me a comment down below and hit that subscribe button if you have not already as you can see um a large majority of the people that watch these videos are not subscribed to the channel so if that is you go ahead and change that also we’re trying to hit about 200 likes on today’s video so if you could help us out with that it’d be greatly appreciated and with that being said let’s goad and continue on looking at the offseason here they are $30 million above the cap going into the offseason so they have a lot of money to play around with it definitely helps when your three youngest players or two of your three best young players are still in their rookie contract so I think they need to go out and get a guy an enforcer down low like Jonas valunas who put up 12.2 points 8.8 rebounds two assists and a block of game this year you can be aggressive you can overpay a little bit if a guy wants to come in but you really shouldn’t have to I mean you’re the number one seed in the west people should be wanting to come in and play with your young core 55% from the field 31% from three this year but he only played 24 minutes a game per 36 he averaged 19 and 13 and A2 so he’s proven he can still be a really really good Center a really good roller uh rim protector and rebounder uh as well as a great screener so I think you go after jonis valunas the backup plan would be Isaiah hartenstein who was very good for New York in their run but like I said you need a backup center to Chad a guy that can be an enforcer down low because obviously Chad still needs to put some time in in the waight room and you need that enforcer and I think you have plenty of money to go get it you can go do that all you want in free agency now now when it comes to the draft I think you have to go best player available you have 800,000 picks over the next few years so go best player available uh the first guy here Tian Salon I probably butchered that there were no tutorials on YouTube I just looked it up and I couldn’t find one only how to say the last name but a very intriguing role player it’s 6’10 611 that you know he’s very mobile same thing with Tyler Smith both of these guys are kind of in the same boat here as very athletic wings that you could devel into something very special and both of them already have very good mechanics on their jump shot and I think you know could be pretty good pieces down the line if you want to spend the 12th overall pick on them you also have Jared McCain here who’s a fantastic shooter I think could help surround Shay Gil’s Alexander you know with more shooting uh help surround Chad Jaylen Williams these driving lanes that will open up surround them with Shooters Jared McCain fantastic off the catch and shoot but I think ultimately you’re going to get a guy like Devin Carter um who can do it all great Defender as well and the jump shot will need some work but I mean he can be pretty good off the catch and shoot and I think that is a guy um that they will end up going with we already looked at the starting lineup this can be very scary next year with Shay Chad and Jaylen Williams all 20 point per game oh Shay 30 point per game but the other two 20 point per game uh scores and then you have two Elite Defenders with Caruso and L Dort and then Off the Bench you’re looking at something like um this lineup right here I mean you could definitely shift this in a number of different ways that power forward spot Off the Bench is kind of wide open same thing really with the two guard spot Off the Bench I just threw Devin Carter in there you know you got K Wallis as well Isaiah Joe all three guys that I think will provide you know really good minutes for them off the bench this year and then valent Tunis if you do bring him in would probably be off the bench as well but that’s what I’m thinking I mean fantastic work here by Sam prey today to bring in Alex Caruso if you enjoyed today’s video thank so much for watching make sure the like button hit that subscribe Button as I said earlier we’re trying to hit about 200 likes on today’s video so with all that being said thanks so much for watching today’s video

This video looks at the Oklahoma City Thunder and why they trading for Alex Caruso to pair with Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Jalen Williams is perfect due to them needing more defenders and veterans

  1. Sad giddey def had a lot of potential just fell into maturity problems lost his confidence and lost all that potential

  2. Begging for subscribers and likes is pathetic! I hate how you so called content creators are always trying to slip that in there, like we don't see what you're trying to do! How about let people make their own decisions on if they want to like and subscribe to your channel! The constant "reminding"😏 is really annoying!! 🥱😏

  3. Lmao the disrespect to Wiggins, he's deff getting on that second team. Fuck Jones and anyone they wanna mock up on us. Wiggs saves basketball, whenever points are hard to get we bring him in to get buckets and he does. That man can easily be a 20ppg player if he started for a team that isn't guard heavy. Watch him play and you'll know why we call him a basketball savior

  4. He got rid of a predator and got a defensive force! Hopefully the Bulls will do the same.

  5. Is it perfect? I love Caruso but he's no more a PF than Giddey was.

They have 5 awesome guards but Minnesota, Denver and LA will run through them like a hot knife through butter. And maybe Memphis too.

They're just too little. They still desperately need to add someone who can actually rebound the ball and provide some more size.

  6. OKC need bigger PF. chet showed his frame wasnt an issue. the issue is chet being the only one for rebounding. jdub is too small for PF

  7. Even if you get passed Dort and AC, you still gotta get it up over Chet at the rim lol. The defense gonna be nice nice

  8. First thing this tells me is that the They won’t let the Mavs beat them again. They now no longer have to help near as much and can pretty much go 1 on 1 with Luka and Kyrie. They now won’t have to leave Pj and others wide open for 3 which is why they lost this year

  9. This is also about kicking down every guard and wing in the west, morant, edwards, booker, fox, curry, Luka, Kyrie… etc gonna have to work really hard for them
Pints with Caruso dort and Wallace on them all game

  10. Wanna S/O Chip Engelland, he was an absolute steal from SA. We went from bottom 3 in the league in 3pt% to a top 3 finish just last season.
Can't wait for him to get to work with Caruso.⛈️⬆️ 💙🧡

  11. Fuck would we need Val for we just destroyed the pelicans because we played him off the floor Lari, Deni ,Harkenstein and Claxton are better fits.

  12. Ima be 100% honest as a bulls fan, I’m tired of people saying this is genius by OKC, the bulls front office just really doesn’t know what they’re doing. Should all be getting hate that’s deserved

  13. they have to be big ATHLETIC centers to give Chet fits but even then he's shown he can play pretty decent verse them. He played against guys that have more weight than him his whole life so he's gotten very familiar with it. He played Valančiūnas the floor in the playoffs which was good to see cause he's that "big center" that people will say will give him fits. The other centers like AD, Jokic, and embid will literally give every center trouble, but i think his potential is to be able to keep up with them offensively still while being a good rim protector. Chet isn't getting bigger.

  14. Aaron wiggins oversight. So i doubt we take carter. I expect a 4/5. And that starting lineup doesnt solve our issue of size. We will trade for/sign a pfand have caruso as the 6th man (20 mpg), a drop off that comes with playing on a better team. Starters: Sga, lu, jdub, new pf, chet. Bench: caso, caruso, wiggs, ousmane, new center.

  15. We need a stretch bug in draft we most likely not taking a shooter when we already have Aaron Wiggins and Isiah Joe off the bench, Aaron Wiggins is our best bench player tbh and you didn’t even include him in the vid lol
