The Warriors are about to finesse the NBA

the Chicago Bulls might be getting rid of their Premier defensive guard after trading Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Josh Giddy lonzo’s and Zack lavine’s tenure with the bulls is likely to come to an end hey what’s happening everyone this is switch culture the Bulls are high on their new acquisition in Josh giddy if you recalled they rebuffed multiple first round picks in exchange for Caruso who is one of the best guard defenders in the league before finally doing a great up trade for him with the Thunder no picks or cash were attached in the trade although the Bulls managed to acquire a 2.8 million cash exception this means the Bulls view giddy as a starting level piece and considering he’s a pass first point guard this brings into question where they see Lonzo as a part of the future of the team while this might initially seem to be bad news for Lonzo this could be the best thing to happen for Golden State it is now rumored that the Bulls May potentially buy out lonzo’s contract essentially making him a free agent available to sign anywhere Additionally the Bulls have also been shopping Zack LaVine to the 76ers and Jazz offering multiple trade packages albeit so far without any luck so with Caruso gone Drummond out LaVine being shopped and Lonzo soon to be available this is an entire overhaul by the Bulls and with golden state clearly needing a defensive guard Lonzo seemingly on the outs might be just what the Warriors need but not so fast this move involves a ton of risk and On The Low End maybe more trouble than it’s worth for Golden State should they go for line instead on the plus side this could be the best move the Warriors make all season we’ll discuss all the details in the video but before that don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to swis culture for the most analytical and entertaining NBA content on the planet now get ready you’re about to [Applause] [Music] get this off season is about to be one of the wildest in recent years with the light grown dimmer for yester year Superstars having all been Tred by younger teams SGA and Luca well on their way to becoming the best players in the west and the Boston Celtics winning the championship it’s becoming clear what teams have to do in order to get to the top right now young talented players with upside have much higher values than the superstars we’ve become familiar with over the past decade and a half can someone please tell this to these Superstars we’ve become familiar with over the past decade and a half Anthony Edwards delivers that’s what we we thought we made it and when you when something good happens to you I don’t know about you guys guys but I tend to look back back back back back back I tend to look back back back back we wasn’t supposed to be here you’re the real MVP you’re the real MVP back back back back I tend to look back the Bulls are under a lot of pressure to compete in the playoffs and despite putting together a formidable team back in 2022 with the acquisition of D rozan Caruso vvi and Lonzo weren’t able to reap any benefits from what should have been a great team this also happens to be the biggest red flag if the warriors were to take a player from this Bulls Squad Zack LaVine has been the Bulls franchise player since 2017 when he was traded from the Timberwolves along with draft pick at the time Lowry marinan for Jimmy Butler and since then they’ve only managed to achieve a single first round exit in the 2022 playoffs this may be the reason the Bulls are now looking to part ways with Lavine in order to make room to pay for and keep D rozan rumors had Caruso on the trade block however it wasn’t until the Thunder showed interest that the Bulls decided to bite apparently Josh giddy was going to be coming off the bench for the Thunder and he didn’t seem too pleased he then requested to be traded and with lonzo’s uncertainty the Bulls jumped on his insurance a starting spot for giddy means a possible parting of ways with Lonzo apart from the trade for giddy the reason is pretty obvious zo has been injured for most most of his career the last time Lonzo played an NBA game was January of 2022 2 and 1 half seasons ago equivalent to the same amount of time that Klay Thompson was missing from the Warriors playable the roster the difference here however is that Lonzo is still only 26 years old and should be approaching the best years of his career in the near future the prospect looks great on paper when healthy he’s one of the best defensive guards in the league right there with Drew holiday and was knocking down his three ball with consistency at over 40% shooting at 6’6 he’s not a small guard either and runs the break like a gazelle he’s the perfect replacement for a player like Draymond Green hint hint and while he’s a pass for his point guard something that the Warriors need for their offense he can still step up and score when necessary the reason for his extended absence is the biggest issue with Lonzo both he and his brother lamelo as well as even liangelo have suffered from knee and Ankle injuries playing as many games as they did Growing Up put a lot of strain on these lower joints and this has affected the trajectory of their careers they’ve often played through these injuries and the multiple surgeries Lonzo has had have aimed to correct some extensive damage Lonzo has had two major surgeries since he started playing for the Bulls originally on a 4-year 80 million contract he’s had a cartilage transplant using cells from his own body and he’s also had a miniscus transplant from a donor his injuries have been so bad that both his cartilage and miniscus were damaged Beyond repair and depleted he had no cushion in his knee resulting in bone on bone contact it’s no wonder the Bulls went for Josh giddy they might feel balls time is up we’re going to dive a little deeper into what exactly your injury is it started with a miniscus tear basically started on the Lakers when I tore it the first time tore it a couple more times to a point to where there was no more miniscus left and bone on bone was rubbing so the carage was gone and the bone was messed up so I had to get new meniscus from a donor I had to get a bone allograph and I had to get some new put in as well all that you know healed up and now I’m back on the court really was about 14 15 months in now so the stuff before that we were trying to figure out what the problem was so that was a wasted year but now we’re here a buyout would put Lonzo in a unique position considering he just opted into his player option for the upcoming year which would be the final year on his contract another team could pick him up for cheap however it wouldn’t be ideal for him to go to just any team whichever team he goes to would have to give him a decent role to be able to increase his stock and earn a better contract The Following season this would be very similar to The Warrior signing of Dante de venzo and Lonzo ball could be the Warriors D venzo signing this season just in case you don’t recall D venzo signed a 2-year 9 million deal signed with the Warriors midlevel exception Lonzo could be signed to a similar deal giving the Warriors a potential boost in Perimeter Defense Shooting and facilitating at a very high level while getting Lonzo ball closer to home the good thing about it is if he pans out the Warriors would be able to add Lonzo in the back court next to Steph Curry to take on even more of the ball handling duties he can play as a one or two in certain situations he could even play a three he’d be the perfect replacement for clay who’s 8 years older and won’t require nearly as much in terms of salary imagine the pandemonium when Steph Curry decides to play his last year in Charlotte and the Hornets send lamelo to play next to Lonzo in Chase Center prior to injury zo was averaging 13 points 5 and 1 half rebounds five assists and 1.8 steals a game while shooting 42% from Deep this was his best year of shooting from distance after continuously getting better year over year showing a clear trajectory of improvement with Klay Thompson’s obvious pressure on the front office this development provides a relief for the Warriors that they would be foolish to overlook there’s basically no risk involved they don’t lose any of their young players and they get one of the best when healthy three andd guards in the league that happens to be much younger than the player that he’d be replacing curry ball kaminga green and tjd would give the Warriors a lot of ball handlers as well as passing shooting might be compromised in the front court but still as I’ve said before the opportunity to sign valent chuna Still Remains an option for the Warriors the front office simply needs to get active and put these players on the roster it’s an obvious need for Golden State and one of the best Solutions the team has with curry and kaminga carrying the bulk of the load for the Warriors next season the team will need one of two things either a third star or a couple of strong Sixth Man Off the Bench type players without Klay Thompson or Chris Paul and with Wiggins possibly gone Moses Moody would have an opportunity to rise to that occasion as with pods and tjd if this doesn’t happen they would need a mid-season trade in order to get it done winning tough game starts at the defensive end and with ball green and tjd the Warriors have three really good defensive players Jonathan kaminga will have to elevate that aspect of his game as well which if he does will give the Warriors The Edge they need to close out games as a fourth defensive option this is where Paul George would come in as the third option for the Warriors The Warriors could potentially use Wiggins in a sign and trade deal to acquire player like Paul George the problem with this is that he’d likely replace kaminga in the starting lineup unless Steve cerr really stir things up and has Draymond come off the bench like it or not if you have a player like Lonzo in the starting lineup you have less of a need for Draymond and considering how young he is it only makes sense Draymond will be missing half the season anyway so why mess with the chemistry your starters developed in his absence this provides plenty of wing depth for Golden State and gives them the best shot at winning again while infusing young talented players with their veterans a lineup of Steph Lonzo PG-13 Jonathan tjd would make the Warriors contenders while we could stop up there why should we oan anobi just made himself available at 26 years old maybe the Warriors should continue to get younger while staying in the championship window if Paul George is a hard get for Golden State acquiring OG would hit the right buttons for the Warriors the Knicks are running low on cash and considering Isaiah hartenstein is likely going to get paid there won’t be much cash left to go around for OG who is likely to earn 200 million in a 5-year deal while OG only averaged 14 points 4 and 1 half rebounds and one and a half assists during his time with the Knicks his defensive impact and overall impact on winning is undeniable swapping out clayon Wiggins for a player like OG to play alongside Curry and JK would put the Warriors back as one of the best teams in the league they have the funds Klay wants to leave get Lonzo in place of CP3 and snatch OG out from the Knicks with that 40 million a year contract at that rate they might even be able to get Mitchell Robinson whom the Knicks are now shopping at this point there’s only one question will the Warriors do it post your thoughts in the comments below just don’t forget to like the video subscribe to the channel and turn on all your Free agency has given the Warriors a very interesting answer to Klay Thompson

  1. So we lose half the soul of the team, pay his giant salary, and sacrifice a hall of fame 3 point assassin for… Lonzo Ball? ummmm

  2. Respectfully idk about this Lonzo > Dray starting idea. In a “scoring unit” type deal maybe but Draymonds got that fake hand off cut to the rim down, is an active distributor, and defensive anchor that can and will guard 1-5.

If you were to get PG hypothetically I think a lineup of Steph, PG, Kuminga, Dray, TJD with Podz, Lonzo, Moody, GP2 and whoever else they can get off the bench makes sense. This starting lineup gives them length and defensive prowess and scoring

Ultimately I still feel the Warriors have not addressed their lack of size either which will hamper their chances at a return to greatness.

Can’t wait for this next season to start already for the games, and the livestreams. Shoutout to you Swish and all the Swish Familia and Dub nation out there. The window isn’t closed but it will be if the Dubs don’t make drastic changes this off season.

  3. I ALWAYS WISHED THEY DRAFTED LAMELO INSTEAD OF WISEMAN😮‍💨BUT LONZO ON THE WARRIORS IS EVEN BETTER😳💯

  4. Draymond will be missing half the season anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I love the ideas. To me, the big question along with, "Will the Warriors do it?" is "Will any capable defensive guard be able to work with Draymond?" I seriously doubt it. Draymond ain't giving up minutes and he'll go sabotage mode if it looks that way. Look what he was doing with KD. So then, is there any possibility Draymond could be traded? Again, with his consistent descent into near psychosis anytime something doesn't go his way or he feels "disrespected" along with Steph's apparent suicide pact with Draymond, it's almost impossible to imagine. One can dream, though.

  5. I'll take Lonzo. The Warriors should also try and get Nic Claxston and draft Branden Carlson. Then, make a move for Deni Avdija to be a stretch 4.

  6. Personally I think Andre Drummond would be a better fit than Lonzo cas we need a big desperately! The best teams have useful bigs that take advantage of the warriors in the paint

  7. Who remembers when the Pelicans offered to trade Lonzo Ball to the warrios for Kelly Oubre then the Warriors declined the trade? It was a bad season for Oubre and he left the very next season. Warriors should've made that trade

  8. This video show how’s how low iq your content is. The warriors would never even consider this move. You’re making up weak scenarios. How would the warriors be finessing anyone? You’re so low iq, you didn’t even mention how the warriors had a chance to draft lamello and didn’t. Super low iq content.x

  9. Lonzo to the Dubs? I hope not. We got enough guards and Lonzo, as good as he is, spends more time healing than playing. He ain't gonna move and shoot the same. LaVar near the GSW bench ain't gonna look good on cam—- might end up exchanging blows with Draymond and Kerr. I think we need a Pascal Siakam type of guy.

  10. Lonzo Ball is considered a "Finesse"? Give me a break! Dude had knee surgery and transplant multiple times, hasn't played in years, Warrior fans don't want him.

  11. Yeah, that's what we need. An injury-prone guard that hasn't played in 3 seasons. Come on, man. We need a rim-running big and a viable second scoring option–in that order. Second, Steph isnt Steph without Dray, and Draymond would never be worth half what he's worth to the Warriors to another team. He and Steph know eachother so well, oppnents have described their 2-man game as them having a "telepathic connection." Moving on from Dray would mean moving on from Steph, and vice versa.

  12. Lonzo is a perfect fit… to go home to the Lakers! The Warriors are in CAP HELL! I'd love Lonzo…

  13. I wanted to watch the video but had to stop around the 3 minute mark with the back, back, back junk

  14. I'm not a Durant fan, but despite everything annoying about him, mocking a video of him being heartfelt grateful for his mom is just classless. Was going to subscribe, but cancelled and gave a thumbs down just for that.

  15. I've wanted Zo for yearssss. I don't see Zo as a "Star" though, or a Clear no. 2. I think that will have to go to JK. Lonzo at 55-60 games at 25-30 min as a High end Role Player would be great. Similar to Iggy. With Steph, Zo can Catch & shoot 3s. With the 2nd unit Zo can Anchor them. Plus at only $20 a year is a Steal if they can help him stay healthy, which is why I mentioned limited minutes & Games. Could be a Win on both sides

  16. Warriors have zero reasons to go after Lonzo Ball. Why would they go after yet another extended-absence injury prone player with an even worse shot than Klay?

  17. I've campaigned for Golden State to get OG for 2 seasons, he would be a perfect fit. As for Lonzo Ball, he would also be a welcome addition. However, if your going to move Draymond Green for Ball, you may as well pay Klay Thompson. But the one thing you forgot Swish, is that Chris Paul is on the final year of his contract, and it's non guaranteed, making him very attractive to other teams. As for Andrew Wiggins, although he's young, the Warriors could possible trade him to get a lottery pick out of the 2024 draft. Another smart move would be to add Andre Drummond to the team, adding even more defense and creating an entirely different attitude on the floor with more emphasis on defense. Removing Green and adding Ball and Drummond would add defense off the bench when Ball goes to the bench. Rumor did have the Warriors at entertaining Brandon Ingram as he is in the final season of his contract. He doesn't have a no trade clause because he's already been moved once. And as I told you, each time a player is traded in the NBA, his value diminishes despite his talents. Swish, the Wiggins trade is the key to this entire process of the direction the Warriors will go next season. The starting 5 can be Ball, Stephen Curry, Brandon Ingram, Klay Thompson and Jonathan Kuminga. As for Moses Moody, I've truly lost my confidence in him because he's embarking on his 4th season with the Warriors, and she should easily be averaging around 15pts per game by now. Your argument would be moving Thompson for Moody in the lineup, but if you do a sign and trade with Thompson and insert Moody into the starting lineup, what if he does the Wiggins disappearing act? It's not like he hasn't done it before, but I hope this becomes a break through season for him if they move on Thompson. Problem is, the Warriors would lose lethal scoring because nobody on the roster besides Curry poses that sniper mentality as Thompson. Adding Ingram would open up more wide open shots for Thompson. Plus Ingram's contract comes off the books, adding even more cap space with both Paul and Ingram being off the roster.

  18. Will have missed 3 full seasons of basketball by the time he… maybe… returns to play.

Most likely outcome is he signs a vet min. (Yeah maybe with the Warriors) and 70% likely never plays a single nba game.

  19. Dumbest trade of all time, another guard and one that don't even play. I prefer trading for a potato
