We can only offer him the vet min, so makes sense for him to test the market. I’d assume we would take him back if he doesnt find more money elsewhere, but even then he may want to fight for a bigger role somewhere else.

I’m glad he was on the team this year. Loved his energy off the bench, and he gave us some life in the series against the pacers.

Paul George letting everyone know the Celtics just lost a glue guy and you can’t win without glue.

This is what Daryl Morey always talks about by giving yourself even a small chance at a ring. You never know what can happen.

Good vibes/energy guy, will probably make a bit more in FA.

Will miss his Boston vlogs though 😄

Everyone going to act like this is a nothingburger, and it probably is but I really enjoyed what he provided.

He was the ultimate teammate following in the footsteps of Blake Griffin and Malik Fitts. He didn’t play a bunch but when he did he was instant energy. He completely changed a playoff game in Indiana, Game 2 he had the highest +/- (+18) in only 12 minutes. It just seemed whenever he came into the game he would get a hustle steal, a hard fought rebound, or a nice play in transition.

He also has been vlogging this whole season under his YouTube channel BrissyTv. It’s been a great insight into the Celtics season, and all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on.

If he has the option for more playing time or a bag he should get 100%. But I’ll miss him, and he will always be one of the guys I root for no matter the team.

Oshae is the man and there should be no problems with him testing the waters. Your main responsibility as a pro athlete is to make as much as you can while you can. Not controversial or surprising for a young player in his shoes.

If he can find a place that’ll pay him more and have more minutes available to him, then go get it kid. He may not have been involved to finish this run; but he’s always defended this team/his teammates publicly, been very positive and beloved all season, and did his job immaculately when his number was called in the playoffs. Any org that values those qualities would be smart to give him a shot and see what happens

Pelicans might like him as a replacement for Naji Marshall.

  16. Dude got his ring and now wants to cash in, 100% understandable but will be missed

Uh-oh! This gonna be another long line at Raising Cane’s.

Go get paid Brissy. Great team guy who brings a ton of energy and hustle off the bench, I’m sure there are plenty of younger teams out there who could use him and give him more minutes

  19. Hope he gets paid. He was basically out of the league when the Raptors cut him. Got picked up by the Pacers G League and played his way onto their roster and then made rotation. Now he’s got a ring and about to make some good money.
