The Thunder’s Next Trade 👀

I think the Oklahoma City Thunder should shock the world and trade up for the number one pick in this year’s draft everyone knows how the Thunder have been hoarding first round picks and look if you’ve heard me talk before you know I think hey this is cool but you can’t keep them all now General consensus seems to think that the Thunder are just going to package all these picks together and flip them for a star but there are so many problems with that that honestly make it pretty unlikely instead why not just go trade for SAR and add him to the young core if you’re not familiar with sar’s game him and Chad holgren together might break the NBA like this would be the ultimate mad scientist experiment from Sam pry and again I really think the Thunder could just give number 12 in two protected future first and move up to one and again if SAR sucks or it just doesn’t work out in OKC then who cares trust me they still have plenty more first round picks

  1. See this where we messed up before. Presit always go to heavy into the draft. Kd harden and Russ were all great but why it didn’t work? “They were all too young”. Even if we have to sacrifice we need someone proven to get over that hill. I don’t mean embid, I mean Gianni’s. I mean Bron, I mean even klay possibly. Like everybody hates on klay but if curry shooting all the threes what’s that leave him? Okc needs a shooter that we can kick out to while jdub and shai attack the rim

  2. The thunder would have to throw in someone like JDub for the Hawks to even pick up the phone.

  3. If the Hawks trade the 1st pick of this draft for the 12th pick of this draft, they better really commit to a rebuild.

  4. OKC would have to up that a bit more – say the 12 pick + 3 future firsts + 2 future second round picks.

  5. Andrew the Wizards are getting Sarr. Hawks are drafting Zacharrie or Clingan. It’s been confirmed!!

  6. This actually such a good idea and honestly one of those ideas that if they don’t do it it’d be kinda dumb. I mean, ur also getting someone who’s so much younger than any of the superstars they could trade for, and it matches up with the thunders timeline extremely well also.

  7. this is not a bad idea, but i think the thunder NEED a more experienced star. Not in the level of Embiid or Jokic, but a guy like Jimmy,PG(healthy)who are class and can help this promisin and talented young core

  8. As a thunder fan, we should think about doing that when there is a draft with more upside. Plus there is a chance we don’t hit on all the picks so some picks that turned into busts can be flipped for a nice veteran asset like what happened to Giddey.

  9. Given the new CBA Oklahoma City should actually be more inclined to keep their picks. SGA, JDub, Chet will all be max guys and you still have to pay Caruso, Joe, Wiggins, and Cason. They have a 2-3 year window where they can afford to pay everyone but having draft picks to get rotation guys on cheap deals will be key to keeping them competitive over the next decade. Look at the Nuggets, they lost Bruce Brown after their title and will most likely lose KCP this offseason.
