I was up early for that game here in Australia before school. I remember going nuts when Reaves hit that clutch shot and said “I’m him.”
That whole post deadline and playoff run was so fun. Some of my favourite moments from the run was the Reaves “I’m him” shot, AD posterising JJJ in game 6, Reaves halfcourt shot against GSW in game 6, LeBron punking Brooks after Dillon said “I don’t care he’s old and I won’t respect LeBron unless he drops 40”, LeBron’s game tying and game winning layups in game 4 and D’lo going nuts against the Grizzliss in the closeout game 6.
The only disappointing part of it was that I genuinely felt confident in us possibly winning the chip until we lost game 3 against Denver. Getting swept by them really sucked.

We were a wrong bracket draw away from running into at least round 2, and why not the finals? Ham would still be coach without question if the Lakers win a round. Instead we draw Denver, lose 3 games where we have a decent to sizable lead in the second half.

Underrated playoff run. The entire run was so fun, from Austin becoming Him, hitting that half court shot vs GS, AD blocking the shit out of everything, the Lonnie Walker game, DLo lighting up vs MEM and GS and Rui going nuts.

when bron was the most inefficient dude in the starting 5 (bar dLo). that run was quite magical all things considered roster-wise. just had the luck of having a dumbass coach whose main and only strategy was to *contest without fouling*

The only reason AD is in there is because he scored 4 points after the game was decided.
