A couple notable quotes from rival executives:

“[(Risacher) had that big game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTUPkEB-s4U). And all the Hawksā€™ decision makers are there, on the front row. Iā€™m not saying theyā€™re taking him. But theyā€™re on the front row.”

“Iā€™d love to have him, but not as a No. 1 guy.”

“(Risacher) can pass. He can play minutes for you right now. And he has nice size. Hereā€™s the thing with Risacher and (Tidjane) Salaun, and with (Alexandre) Sarr. Theyā€™re big kids. Risacher, he grew. Heā€™s close to 6-9 barefoot. Heā€™s going to look like a (Danilo) Gallinari.”

(S/O that user on here a couple of days ago who compared Risacher to Gallo)

“When heā€™s in his right way, he doesnā€™t turn down shots. And he attacks in transition, and he does all the right things. Itā€™s just underneath the rim, heā€™s not a punch-first guy.”

This draft is such a mindfuck man. Imagine we had the 4th pick, Iā€™d be more than happy picking up Risacher or any of these guys. Itā€™s just the whole #1 dealā€¦

Like these guys all project as high level role players, which isnā€™t a bad thing!! Just not at the first pick šŸ˜

It just seems like a weird pick in the position we are with Trae. We want to right the ship quickly and I feel like Risacher doesn’t do that. Risacher in place on Hunter seems like a slight step back with potential for him to get to Hunter’s level or better in the future. I feel like Clingan steps into the center role and can immediately do things Clint Capela can’t.

Like the WCF exec alludes to, Risacher will likely struggle defensively off the bat. So we’re really just banking on his shooting/playmaking in year 1. I continue to think he’s a smokescreen for the Spurs to trade up.
