TOP 10 Free Agents for the Bucks

so with free agency coming up I took the time to go through every free agent this off season and make a list of the top 10 guys the buck should go after and with this list I have no big men on it I put my entire uh list of players the bck should draft as big men because there’s not really a lot of great big men available in free agency that the books could get on the low and the draft actually does have some decent options Damen Jones and Harry Giles were like the best options I saw in free agency there’s Drummond but I don’t think that’s really going to work for the buck salary wise or in terms of what they need so in terms of guys that fill their need here’s number 10 and this is Reggie bulock a guy that did nothing for the Rockets last season a team that was focusing a little bit more on Youth and is actually more deep than probably people would would think but um Reggie bul is a guy that just a few years ago was solid for the Knicks on a playoff team uh he wouldn’t be anything that would get me excited as a Bucs Fan but I could see him being like the ninth man and be able to knock down some threes and be decent defensively really what they need is athleticism and guys that are switchable defensively and he’s not really the most athletic but he could hold his own defensively he could be like a better shooting version of what J Crowder has been which has been pretty rough but at least he could hit threes at a better level than a j Crowder um but for next on the list number nine would be Royce O’Neal a guy I’d be definitely a little bit more excited about bringing in a guy that could definitely be the fifth option on a team um even better defensively probably um has gotone better from the three-point line shoots 37% from three was one of the better options for the Suns closing the season one of their only guys that could play some type of Defense again he doesn’t really give that like athletic juice that you want for the bucks but they could always go to the younger guys for that Bo champ and Andre Jackson this guy would be solid um a guy that you could throw into the starting lineup next to Dam and Chris Middleton and he could show up the defense a lot more than what it was with Malik Beasley and shoot at a level that’s not much worse than Beasley so I would definitely like if they got Royce O’Neil next I’ll go Haywood heith he really does give you that juice defensively and that um athleticism he’s lanky um he can switch to pretty much every dis position besides the center uh he’s been very good for the Heat and his three-point percentage got up to about 40% this year so I think that would be very good for the bucks um that would be a good pickup for them if they could get him on a minimum deal next on the list we’ve got Justin holiday might as well bring in another Holiday Twin shoots over 40% from three and you saw him have um a role on a winning team this season with the Nuggets now he got inconsistent minutes in the playoffs but again he’s another guy that’s like a ninth man that he’s a guy you can throw out there in a playoff game and feel okay about he’s linky linky and the holiday Brothers all play defense although he’s probably the the worst Defender he can hold his own on defense and he’s probably not a guy you want to rely on having to play like 20 minutes every game you don’t want him probably in your starting lineup but he’s a guy that you can you know count on um if you need him to if you need him out there he’s a guy that you know you can throw out there and it’s not going to be an issue I actually probably would rather Royce O’Neal than those guys so let me move Royce O’Neal up that list in actuality Royce O’Neal is not number nine for me um but these are just basically guys I want the Bucks to pick up and they’re getting generally better as it goes on and then the next on the list would be Chris Dunn um this is just a guy that could be a backup point guard that um is not a weak link defensively they both the Bucks don’t really have another guard besides Damien Lillard to run the show they can go to Chris Middleton but it would be nice to have another short-handed ball handler that could just take care of the ball and knock down open and not be be liability defensively he’s always been solid defensively 6’4 so he could guard the two if you wanted to throw him out there next to Dame again not a guy that he’s kind of in that Justin holiday M where I wouldn’t love if you had to rely on him being a part of the core of the team but let’s say the young guys underachieve or there’s a series where AJ Green is getting exposed defensively something like that Chris dun could just be a sureh handed guy towards the end of the bench that you could throw out there in some matchups that I think could fill some needs for the bucks so like I would like him as a backup point guard kind of feeling what um Javon Carter used to be for the bucks and now the next one would be like a little bit better version of that which is Delon Wright he could you know same thing he’s a little bit bigger he’s I think 6’5 he’s been on winning teams throughout his whole career he’s a good decision maker his family comes from Pros he’s just another solid player again you don’t want to rely on on him too much but yeah the only um thing I want to correct on this list is Royce O’Neal is better than all the people I’ve said so far I’d rather him than all these people but now this is the actual top four this is like really the next level guys where all the guys previously are guys like sure I’d be say good move for the bucks not a like Game Changer but good move now these are guys that could potentially be another level and that’s starting off with Naji Marshall who is on a very good team with the Pelicans this year actually gave them nine points a game in the playoffs so he was a guy he they went to a little bit more in the postseason and he’s a guy that is maybe the best defender that I’ve said so far on this list um and his three-point shot has developed very well throughout the years he’s been on a team of the Pelicans that’s been competitive for a while now and different coaches have always liked him I remember he used to play a lot under Stan Van Gundy um over guys that were more talented so he’s just um hard-nose Defender that I think Doc Rivers would like and he’s just a solid all-around player a guy that you could throw out their next to Dame can guard let’s say an elite point guard and put Dame um you make it so you’re able to hide Damen Lillard a little bit and Naji Marshall I don’t know if I would call him a Lockdown Defender but he’s pretty close to it so I would really like I would love it actually if they got Naji Marshall I think that would be an a pickup these are the that I would really be excited about if the Bucks got um but next on the list here we’ve got Gary Harris a guy that started on the magic team that made the playoffs for the first time in a while and pushed the Cavs to seven games he’s been a pro for a long time was a part of nugget team that teams that made little playoff runs um and he’s just a very good Defender that knocks down threes for the bucks you’re not looking for any guy that’s going to be creating his own offense these are all guys that are getting about seven points a game you just want a guy that could be the fifth option on the floor if they keep everything out it is you’ve got Dame you’ve got Middleton you got Giannis you got Brooke all guys that could give you 20 on any any given night Gary Harris not going to give you 20 hardly at all but he could be the fifth guy you to make it just so the defense can’t leave him wide open and on the other end you could put him on point guards similar to nji Marshall um you could put him on the best guard um and hi hide Damen Lillard defensively a little bit more so I think that would be a very good pickup I’d be excited if the Bucs got him and then uh we’ve got Aaron holiday here at number two pickups I would like for the bucks and this is probably even further the best defender that we’ve seen so far be great to have a holiday replacement for Drew Aaron holiday has always been been solid solid on the defensive end but his three-point shot has gotten very good in his career to where this would be like the perfect backup point guard to have but you also could throw out there with Dame as well he’s kind of a Dave Davon Mitchell type player but hon but honestly I think he’s a little bit better offensively at this point than Davon Mitchell so I would really like if they got Aaron holiday and then last one I actually don’t have the picture right here but the number one guy on my list for the targets for the bucks would be torian Prince um darham just got brought back to the Bucks and Lakers fans criticized uh him for how much he loved torian Prince but personally I like torian Prince too and on a team that has like three or four guys that could get you 20 rather than the Lakers where it was really LeBron and um Anthony Davis you know you had Reeves you had um D’Angelo Russell but in the playoffs you probably were looking for a little bit more scoring ability where the the Bucks have plenty of that they even mentioned Bobby poris you really want a guy that um has size switch ability and can knock down open threes and he did that for the Lakers not only that he’s actually like a solid Pro he’s another guy that coaches like because he knows where to be I remember there was a gamewinner that the Nuggets hit Jamal Murray um where he was pushing R Ru haimura to go help and he was telling him the right thing to do Ru haimura wasn’t in the right spot but tan Prince I think could be a vocal leader for the bucks um bring a little bit of that dog to the floor so that be the number one target I’d want for the Bucs of free agency again these are all guys that I think could get uh you could get on basically minimum type deals Pro it type deals and so these are realistic options for the bucks none of them are complete Game Changers but these are solid pickups I think the Bucs could
