Clippers where you kept Randall but then you’d have to do Bogey and Mitch and realistically it would be Deuce um like in a where you could take back more money than you send out you can’t do that once you’re over the first apron you can’t send out more salary in a trade and um you know then you take back all of a sudden if the first apron is a isn’t a concern you could do that do and you could hard cap yourself because you’re not up against the first apron so like again I’m just I’m trying to think of all the scenarios are the Knicks like is somewhere in the corner of their whiteboard this thing So even though we knew he would opt out, there was a path that avoided him hitting free agency. 2) Obviously Lebron is resigning with LA, and teams are reluctant to pay PG long-term, this catapults OG to possibly a top 3 free agent this summer . 3) our biggest threat is Philly…Nick Nurse was his first NBA Coach. 4) this rumor of the issue with “Nova Knicks”. It doesn’t seem real to me, but it has to be rooted in something, right?
Reason for optimism: again, we all knew this was gonna happen and OG still attempted to play Game 7 despite knowing he’d be a free agent, that suggests loyalty/belief in the team. 2) He’s CAA Mafia affiliated, nuff said lol! 3) unlike I- Hart we can match any offer he gets (question of “should we”gets a little murky) and I think he’d give us a chance to match or execute a sign and trade (again CAA).

To the players, money matters over the ring and he understands that this is the only time he can get a max in his career. The Knicks are the best option for him to get both a ring and money. He should be getting probably 30-35 because he is always injured. The market determines your value.
