The young core was referring to Scottie and Scottie Alone, right? Right?

It’s time.
Time to let go of attachments.
Free yourself of the pain.
It’s time to let go.
Namaste.

Scottie got a max, Pascal got a max, Freddy got 40 mil and OG about to get 40 mil…shows they had the talent to a good regular season team (will come up short as the team lacked a true “Guy”), but even the regular season was a disappointment as the fit just wasn’t there, with there being two much overlap on strengths and weaknesses.

Four Raptor greats and Chris Boucher

When was Boucher ever considered part of the core?

There was lots of talent, but a little too much redundant skillsets / size, and not enough shooting for the modern nba. Also missing a starting caliber center for years did not help. Aron baynes, and Alex Len did not help this group.
I think Project 6’9 was a good idea for defence, but there wasn’t enough offensive skill to make it work. The NBA is definitely trending towards skilled size, but you still need the skill part.
