[Fischer] Jazz talking to Lakers about trading 29 and 32 for 17.

There remains a simpler scenario in which the Lakers move down from the No. 17 pick. The New York Knicks and Utah Jazz have made advances about combining their last first-round pick and second-round draft capital to slide up into the teens of this draft, rival executives told Yahoo Sports. Would Utah’s Nos. 29 and 32 picks be enough to entice the Lakers to fall back from their original slot? Both selections would afford Los Angeles an earlier chance to draft Bronny James, as compared to the Lakers’ current second-round pick at No. 55.

Not sure LA would do this, but it's good to try at least.

Way better than the phoenix deal. Hopefully if there’s enough teams interested in getting rid of a better pick for multiples it puts us in a better position to make it happen for fear of the other teams missing out

Bro 17 is crazy value for 29 and 32, I’d jump on that. Not sure if LA would. Luckily, both them and Phoenix are so desperate for bodies that they might actually pull the trigger

This would be a phenomenal deal. Potentially could get a future starter still at 17, that’s still a good value spot in this draft. I don’t want us to take Topic at 10 but with the injury concerns maybe he falls to 17. Or Ja’Kobe Walter next to Keyonte could be an interesting backcourt. Lots of options at 17 depending on how the draft falls, but I’d feel much more comfortable taking an upside pick at 10 like Salaun for example if we had 17 as well.

Could we possibly get 17 and 55? I’ve seen Tre Flowers mocked at the end of the draft and I think he’d be a good get.
