JJ has just a confidence and outspokenness about him that we had been desperately searching for during the Ham days. Excited about this.

Didn’t think he was 3 months ago. This podcaster is full of shit

Just can’t get excited about this dude. Didn’t bother watching the press conference but something tells me no one grilled him about his voting.

I give it ten games and this sub will be calling for JJ to be fired.

And yet, he didn’t vote him All NBA Defense

  6. Says the guy who vote SGA ahead of AD in the All-Defensive team. Happy for him and glad he’s willing to take up the challenge, but action speaks louder than words and it’s hard to take this seriously after seeing the votes.

  7. I’d love to hear his logic on why he didn’t have AD on the all defensive list.

  8. For everyone hating on him, “Give Him a Shot.” Has his head straight. Questions: Can he manage Bron’s mins, can he get the most out of AD, can he motivate his team, can he manage the game, can he utilize the roster to get the best out of the team? Things to be on the look out for… might as well coach SL team to get a feel for the position.

  9. Ehh going to have to take more than this to make up for his prior comment

He’s the Lakers head coach now. Whatever he previously said shouldn’t matter more than what he’s gonna do and say now.

I don’t care if he didn’t include AD in his top 5 of whatever. He said Lakers fans are passionate and our expectation is a championship.

Damn right. That’s all that matters to me now.

Excited to see how he does and who we add to the staff

I’ll pass judgment once we get a couple dozen games into the season. For now I’ll just hope for the best I simply don’t know enough to feel good or bad about JJ. We will see. Lakeshore all day either way. 👌🏾👌🏾

Maybe just me, but base on today’s press conference we found a key factor that a successful laker coach always had: Charisma. Phil and Pat Riley, not only they are great coaches but they had their charisma. I hope JJ will succeed with us just like those two

One thing that while watching his and brons podcast, jj is very analytical. He talks about the new style of the nba I’m interested!

He said that because AD made first team all defensive, no thanks to JJ. But yeah if you make first team all defensive then technically you’re a top 5 defensive player. It should be noted though that JJ personally did not have AD in his top 10.

Sick of hearing coaches talking about the defensive end….. need to see it before I start buying into it
