[Danny Emerman] Dunleavy values the team’s young core (Kuminga, Podz, Moody, TJD) and said it would take “a lot” to move them in a trade. Noted they can contribute now and in the future. “We’re excited for those guys’ growth and expect them to be with us.”

I trust MDJ with whatever he thinks is right, but this is also [the same man that said there he was planning to have Poole for “four more years at least”](https://youtu.be/fAGrnlJdGPo?t=1453) and then trading him a couple days shortly after lol Gonna be interesting to see what he ends up doing (or not doing)

I think he’s telling the truth…obviously similar was said about Poole but this team is so old already that strategically it doesn’t make sense to trade away what youth you have.

  3. We heard him say this before with Poole and ended up trading him within a week, these are just PR answers, front office is definitely cooking something up behind the scenes

I think it’s the right take, though fans will hate it.

This can’t be news. In what world would a GM say anything different.

“nah, we need to make drastic changes. We are going to throw the young guys in any trade and start the roster over” said no gm ever in the history of the NBA.

this is all just trade talk stuff, he not gonna say my young guys are worth shit and im looking to trade.

Same. We should be looking to trade CP3, Wiggins, and GP2.
