My big hope is that because Giddey can actually find people and make those passes, the players will be more incentivized to cut and move off ball.
Our players can get stagnant because even if they know they should cut, they aren’t confident that they’ll even get the ball so what’s the point. Demar has that ability, but he does sort of telegraph when he’s gonna just go to work on a guy so the players just chill at the peremeter when it happens.
Giddey is a true pass first so players know he’ll find them if he’s in good position
