Will Luke Kennard’s contract status impact the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2024 NBA draft?

Will Luke Kennard’s contract status impact the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2024 NBA draft?

on this NBA draft Eve edition of lockdown Grizzlies Howard to Michael Cole had a chance to speak with both Bobby marks and Jeremy woo of ESPN covering all sorts of topics from Luke Canard and how his Domino might be an important one to fall on the Grizzlies off season what the Grizzlies might do in the draft and yesterday we mentioned the possibility of trading back from the number nine pick what could that possibly look like we’ll talk about that and more it’s just one more sleep to the NBA draft and you’re locked in at the right place of lock on Grizzlies you are locked on Grizzlies your here on the podcast as I mentioned a moment ago joined by my wonderful co-host to Michael Cole of the Commercial Appeal there in Memphis Tennessee an award-winning Memphis Grizzlies beat writer for that publication you have come to the right place to get great Memphis Grizzlies content mostly because of demichel I think I have a decent opinion every once in a while but to Michael uh an opportunity to speak with a couple of folks from ESPN who are about as tuned in with the workings of the NBA this time of year as anyone Bobby marks Jeremy woo uh all sorts of different topics that you covered and we’ll we’ll start off with Bobby marks because I thought it was interesting and this is an article that is over at the Commercial Appeal again you should go check it out today if you haven’t already done so maybe read it as you’re listening or watching to the show uh demichel you you had that opportunity to speak with Bobby marks and we’re starting our show off with that because obviously we’ll talk about your conversation with Jeremy woo and you know all that sort of stuff uh as the show progresses but we’re starting with Marx because he made it seem at least in my reading that the Luke Canard situation is a major Domino to fall in whatever the Grizzlies are going to do this off season and a lot of it has to do with the new CBA the idea of a first apron the luxury tax so if you could maybe in layman’s terms uh kind of describe what the big significance of that is for a team especially like the Memphis Grizzlies yeah you know Joe this isn’t something we we’ve talked about much to this point we kind of separated the two things the Luke Canard situation is one thing and the ba draft how the Grizzlies should address it and how they should address the Luke Canard situation but in a way they’re kind of intertwined because uh Luke canard’s decision has to be made shortly after uh the draft and I mean in the next four days or so if I’m not M yeah it’s right before free agency start I think the 29th is the deadline for him free agency starts the 30th at 6 PM uh so yeah I mean they the clock is going to be ticking as soon as the draft ends and they fly the guys in the MH and all that luk Canard will be on the clock but I’m sure they will probably already have a decision made at that point and the reason why is because there are certain restrictions uh that come you know with the idea of keeping him I mean for those who don’t know and we’ve said this pretty much at this point but if the Grizzlies do pick up the team option they jump into the first apron of the NBA’s new CBA uh we’ve talked about the NBA’s new CBA a little bit but just to give you like a quick rundown of what will happen if the Grizzlies go in the first apron well there’ll be certain restrictions the most notable in my opinion and you know probably over there for our arm share GM Joe MOX too is you’re not allowed to acquire a player in a signning trade if you’re in the first April so all this talk of oh let’s go get this big man who’s making this much money in the free agency and things like that like the isaah hardenstein of the world or throw them off the table if you’re it’s impossible literally not can happen uh but then there are some other ones you you you’re not allowed to use a pre-existing trade exception and the grizzly so happened to have a couple of those uh you know from from previous trades they have access to trade exceptions those go off the table if you pick up the luk Canard team option you’re not allowed to take money back in a trade uh can I take money back in a trade you’re not allowed to sign a player wave during a regular season that had a pre-existing salary of over $1.99 million that one probably won’t come into play uh much for the Grizzlies but you’re also uh you’re allowed to use a trade exception that’s created from the new trade so if you you make a trade and you create a trade exception you’re able to use that but you can’t use any pre-existing ones and the Grizzlies I think have two of those right now and then the other notable one which we have talked about previously is you’re only you only have access to the 5.2 dollar million trade level exception uh which is I mean mid- level exception excuse me uh I believe the rest of the league that is in if you’re a team that’s not in the first or the second apron you have access uh to the $12 million uh mid-level exception so it’s it’s basically more than double so uh when you talk about conversations with potential starting bigs and things like that in free agency and you say oh we just got a mid-level exception to auth some teams will be able to double up the Grizzlies uh that also don’t have cap space as well uh so it’s noteworthy you know if you if you pick up Luke Canard is the team option you’re saying screw all those things basically but Bobby marks also pointed out we we get a little caught up in the numbers right and at the end of the day we’re having this conversation because Luke Gard is a good player like he didn’t earn that contract just because you know he had one breakout season and hasn’t replicated that he earned that contract because of the fact that he’s one of the best three-point shooters in the NBA and he’s continued to Showcase that I’ve been critical of certain areas of his game Joe monx has as well but at the same time I find Value in him being on the team I still like the idea of picking up the team option Joe simply because those restrictions I mean oh well like you’re gonna the grizzly is going to be in the first apron at some point because the jiren Jackson Jr extension talks will come soon and at that point you can’t avoid it like it’s it is what it is so uh it’s going to happen and I think Luke Canard is worth it you he’s not worth declining people everyone should know how much I value the idea of keeping Shooters around the star players on this team Luke Canard is one of those main components he’s one of the best shooters in the NBA Joe you keep this guy and guess what yeah maybe you won’t be able to buy a second round pick and whatnot you know as Bobby March pointed out but at the same time uh it’s worth it and there are some other things that may come into play you know uh you know I know me and you may talk about the idea you know uh later on in the show about some potential trades in the draft and we’ll tie those into the Luke Canard situation later but there are certain restrictions that quite frankly I don’t think are worth declining the option over here’s where we have a rare disagreement because my takeaway from the Bobby marks comments in your post or your article I think that I’m gonna contradict myself within the first 10 minutes of the show I mentioned that Canard being the first Domino to the fall I the draft is obviously the first Domino to fall here’s where I stand after reading your article if Memphis is able to get Donovan Clingan if they get up to three right or they move up to six because if kingan falls past three and I agree again we’ll talk more later on there’s a decent chance that if he’s not picked at three that he’ll fall to six right or if he’s not picked at two or even one by Atlanta um I believe that if Memphis drafts somebody like a Dalton connect I don’t know that they’ll opt into that I think that that could be their out and that allows for them to address the starting center position with a full mid-level exception that they wouldn’t have if they don’t if they opt into the Canard deal so I think a lot of it has to do with whatever this trade up and there’s a lot of smoke to that fire right more and more you know Mark Stein who’s one of the most tuned in ESPN repor or excuse me NBA reporters he’s not with ESPN substack uh one of the most in tune NBA reporters there is talks about the the rumors of Memphis trying to move up to three if that happens and they get their guy they get kinging yeah I think they opt into Canard and they do exactly what you just said like who cares about the apron we got our guy we’re gonna run it back as best we can with this improved depth from Vince Williams Jr GG Jackson we see where we are uh but if they don’t get that big I do think that makes that possibility because it allows for them to address an important position of need a little bit more completely H yeah that makes sense I mean it makes sense to me I get completely what you’re saying you know if they don’t move up to get their big they need a little bit more flexibility to be able to do so are you willing to bet the house on Zach Edy is kind of where it comes from for me are you are you willing to bet the house because that’s how important the center position is for this Grizzlies team we saw it with Stephen Adams that’s the reason that you were so frustrated by the Stephen Adams trade and understandably so like we know how good of a regular season team this team is when they have a guy guy like Adams and kingan is very similar to Adams better in several ways you could argue I I think that that is an important piece of this process is understanding just how much that Domino matters it does if you get kingan and you keep Canard like you said you’re a first apron team but who cares yeah and and my thing is I guess here’s my point uh if you get the 5.2 million doar a mid-level exception it’s center it’s not point guard we’re talking about it’s not shooting guard you could get Goa for 5.2 you you’ve heard me compare the center position to running back in the NFL uh I think there will be some still decent bigs that because because I don’t think teams are just going to be shelving out their their mid their full mid-level exception to C like I I think you’re trying to go get you know some really good Wings right uh uh maybe some defensive minded guys three and D type guys which are full midlevel exception so basically I that’s where I completely agree what what you’re saying they’re going to need that flexib but my point is if you get in the first apron you pick up that team option and I still feel decently confident about the idea of getting you know a a a decent enough big they they don’t need a game breaker they a decent enough big to hold down the fort um with that $5.2 million midlevel exception the health of Brandon Clark is significant for that we’ve seen him at full strength you know that that vertical lob threat to me that was the biggest takeaway from the Dallas Mavericks success is Clark is going to be very significant to what Memphis does this coming season he’s going to be an exactor spoiler alert for episodes of lock on grizzley’s closer to the fall Clark is going to be an X-Factor let to Michael and I know what you think in the comments uh the first apron how you feel about that should Memphis maintain flexibility how significant is Canard for you let us know in the comments when we come back here on lockdown Grizzlies we will talk about the other part of De Michel’s wonderful piece over the Commercial Appeal his conversation with Jeremy woo uh talking about memphis’s upcoming draft talk about that next here on lockdown Grizzlies but first this episode of lockdown Grizzlies is brought to you by fan duel I love sports sportsy sports sports love to watch them so much I never want to stop the Michaels the same and start making the most out of your summer FanDuel and official sports betting partner of Major League Baseball when we come back here on lockdown Grizzlies we continue our conversation about the Michaels peace over in the commercial appeal talking with ESPN analyst Jeremy woo about memphis’s uh draft prospects stick with us welcome back to this episode of lockdown Grizzlies again happy NBA draft Eve to all those who celebrate it is I Joe molx joined by my co-host Michael Cole the Commercial Appeal there in Memphis Tennessee to Michel we’ll jump right back in here with your piece Jeremy woo another great ESPN analyst talking about what Memphis could potentially do in this upcoming draft we mentioned a little bit earlier in the show that Donovan Kling and smoke Woo is another name to add to that list there’s a lot of smoke to that fire the Grizzlies is being very interested in what kingan brings to the table but he also brought up some interesting points that maybe made it seem and this is not surprising knowing GM Zack kimman and The Grizzlies there might be a plan b or a plan C if the clinging dream doesn’t become a reality yeah uh he used the word thrift shopping you know that was the word that jman will use that stood out to me basically the idea that if the Grizzlies don’t get their hands on clinging uh you’re looking at the rest of the bigs probably going as he said in the 14 to 15 to 25 range I would suppose the names there are Zack E yees Mei khil wear uh and Don Holmes is another one I think those are the four five bigs that you probably see go off the board in that range uh but he’s of the mindset that kingan is probably the one guy that you throw him in Grizzlies rotation whether it’s you know impactful off the bench big or as a starter he’s the one guy uh who I think we based on the conversation there uh trust as kind of a f in uh impact player right now so he’s he sounds like he’s of the opinion that you know if you don’t get clinging you’re better off thrift shopping as we kind of touched on in the first segment uh through free agency and whatnot and you know what I’m not too far from that idea as well because I mean everyone on here you’ve heard me at this point kind of say uh that khil wear is someone that I’m high on but at the same time uh there is a physicality jump right and you have to be careful of expecting these guys to come in you know play 26 27 minutes or anything like that you know I think a good solid rookie big man season would be you know 1819 impactful minutes off the bench or whatever I mean you got to think about as good as Derek Lely was this year right the MAF still would got Daniel Gafford at the deadline like I mean take it how you want to take it but uh to me that was a hey we’re not trying to play this rookie 40 minutes in the playoff game you know as impactful as he ended up being and you know there was some weaknesses there you saw the Boston series he wasn’t as effective as he was in the previous series but uh that’s expected out of rookies and I think that’s what w kind of alluded to the idea that hey you know uh is there is a transition period for rookies here and Donovan Clingan sounds like he think has the uh E I wouldn’t say easiest uh his his game is the most suitable to translate right away which I kind of agree with but uh yeah it just it’s Lead Me it leads me to believe Joe that if we’re looking at number nine the Grizzlies move up that should gu Donovan clinin if they stay at nine and I’ve said this I look I like CLE wear I like Zack Edy if you’re if if you’re at nine I’m not drafting him I mean maybe maybe I’ll be wrong maybe we’ll look back at this in a year BL oh you were wrong but uh I I trade back because because at the end of the day it’s a value thing right like even if Zack Edy or CLE wear turn out to be worth it like if if CLE wear basically replicates the same season that Derek lley had uh I still think you can have the conversation from the standpoint of oh well not he had a productive first year and you got him at nine but he probably would have been on the board at 12 and you could have slid back a couple spots let OKC jump in front of you or whatever the case may be and you know picked up an extra second rounder picked up an extra a which we’ll talk about a little bit later on in the show I think that they’re again and it’s one of the reasons I feel the way I did after the marks part of your article they have found ways to get this viability because of their flexibility right and I forget who it was it was either woo or marks they talked about how the reason Memphis has all these picks the same reason the Thunder have all these picks yeah it it’s it’s ammunition to move up right they’re not loading up to try to go get Paul George in a signning tra the Clippers don’t want all those picks Memphis can’t afford them maybe Oklahoma City could and that would be hilarious if they brought Paul George back that’s probably not going to happen uh the point I’m trying to make is it’s to move up and drafts when they want to that’s they have these picks and The Grizzlies are in a spot where they’re able to do that if they’re willing to pay the price I think they could throw enough at Houston to make them say yes at three if they really want kinging is that the right decision we’ve already talked about on this show I don’t I love Donovan Kling and I’ve been on him literally since the beginning yeah I don’t know that I would give up multiple firsts to to get up to three and that might be what it costs yeah Oklahoma City could pay that and can you imagine kingan and Chad hogen together that would be nightmare down talk about fif F absolutely that would be a major problem for everybody in the west that’s possible Right the Thunder aren’t necessarily A team that folks talk about and they traded for Alex Caruso recently getting rid of Josh giddy that that is a fascinating possibility that I hadn’t thought of until I read your article uh with the Thunder being a trade up possibility as well and they need a big uh the hom grin is impressive but he is kind of like jiren where he’s probably better as a four than he is as a five I am of the mindset that there are options from 15 to 25 and like you said we’ll talk more about it I am of the mind that I would rather at this stage trade back than trade up and again people are going to get in the comments and say you’re Mr fif f f you’re Mr D are you’re Mr are we trying to win a championship or not right absolutely but I think that there are ways to address that need without blowing off every as that you’ve accumulated yeah and and maybe I’m gunshy31 beyond that you’re having a conversation about you know is is it possible to get a Mel Bridges is it possible to go out and trade for a legitimate star caliber big man like a Jared Allen those chats are more realistic at three than they are at nine and that’s the gift that Houston has been given and that’s the reality that Memphis faces how do they attack this everything has an opportunity cost right what is it worth what are you willing to give up to make something happen and historically you know you have studied and followed Zack kleinman’s career as have I I don’t think he’s going to completely sacrifice the entire future of this franchise for one big man for the exact reason that you just said is kingan better than Edy as an NBA Prospect I think so is the gap that big and that seismic to mortgage your future I don’t think Zack kimman is gonna say it is and I don’t necessarily disagree with him uh go ahead no I I just I don’t think they should work out of a point of desperation with their mov and I think uh that’s where we agree you know um the idea of moving up to get Donovan cling is very appealing but as I’ve said it makes way more sense to me to do it at six than do it at three if if I’m the Grizzlies I’m I’m really not even I mean based on what what you know kellyo was saying and and even Mark Stein’s report you know he he threw Marcus Smart’s name in the conversation as well like if that’s what they’re if that’s what they want and hang hang up the phone you know we don’t have anything to talk about you know see you see you during the season four times like we’ll see you then I think Marcus Smart is a viable trade piece is a real thing I don’t know that it makes sense to do it with Houston you know there might be other avenues for that that maybe we can discuss on a later episode of lockon Grizzlies let us know what you think in the comments do you agree with the Michael and I we’re not quite in the mood to mortgage the future for Donovan kingan even though again I’m very high on kingan I don’t want to make it seem like I’m backing off of that the the cost of Houston asking for so much it’s too high for me and I think that if Memphis were able to find a tradeback partner there might be some possibilities for them in this draft and we’ll talk about some options coming up next here on lockon Grizzlies but first you’ll notice that demichel and I whether we agree disagree we’re not screaming at each other we’re having logical conversation we’re trying to provide analysis and give you reasons and ammunition to back up whatever argument you might be having with your fellow NBA and Grizzlies fans going into the draft that’s part of our job not to make you turn down the volume because we’re screaming at one another this is an ESPN or Fox Sports this is lock on Grizzlies a proud part of a locked on podcast Network locked on sports today is an different locked on podcasts plus the league shows like locked on NBA so go check out locked on sports today right now or actually maybe not right now at the end of the episode go check out locked on sports today when we come back here on lockon Grizzly we’ll close out the show with some tradeback ideas reasons logical explanations at least as best I can and I’m sure dich will always bring logic like he always does I get angry sometimes but not this time stick with us welcome back to lock down Grizzlies I am Joe Mullen X closing out this Tuesday edition of the show with my co-host Michael Cole the next time we’re together it will be NBA draft first round day which is so dumb still to say um there are people trying to argue for it in the comments don’t try like you’re you’re you’re doing your best I appreciate it you’re an NBA fan it’s it’s a money grab and it helps out to Michael those are the positives behind the the the two night draft uh the two night draft philosophy um we’ve talked a lot about the Canard Domino clinging and trading up and all that sort of stuff haven’t talked a ton about trading back and that’s in part because usually Memphis is trying to trade up right as we just discussed that’s pretty much the mo of this Zack kimman front office but it takes two to tango and maybe there are no options maybe something falls through with Charlotte or maybe it doesn’t make sense to trade up with Charlotte because kingan’s already off the board and you’re sitting there at nine and you want to trade back there’s some possibilities at least for me to Michael that would make sense for example the Orlando Magic are sitting there I think with the 17th or 18th pick in this draft you mentioned earlier the big man window uh you know between 15 and 25 that sort of thing I think that nine and Luke Canard could perhaps get you 18 and one of those Orlando bigs especially maybe like a Wendell Carter Jr Orlando desperately needs shooting they have several bigs that they either have the bird rights to or have first right to resign uh Wendell Carter Jr maybe’s not in their mix you trade back to I think it’s 18 and then you see the best big available or you just go best player available you make a pick there you still have a pick at 39 that you could do that bargain hunting so to speak and again you’re still going to be a first apron team but you’ve addressed the big man position maybe you go back to 18 you draft our boy shyan like we talked about get him off the board replaces Canard in that way take best player available at 39 and and you just kind of ride into the season there’s lots of ways that can be addressed and that’s just one for you Jo please absolutely check this out so I mean I think we’re both kind of uh we’re the same page with the value of the number nine pick uh I’m willing to stay at nine to draft dton kette if he’s there I’m actually mean look I keep hearing his name every everybody I talk to Devin Carter’s name keep coming up he’s an analytics darting the numbers love that guy his name keeps coming up um um I’m here now I’m here if he’s there at nine don’t connect Devin Carter I mean cl’s not going to be there but he Mak the Anthony Melton like I don’t understand the point of the Anthony Melton trade if you’re going to draft dein Carter but you know that’s neither here nor there maybe maybe I mean they admitted the Ry thing was a mistake already by well there you go maybe they admitted they should have kept melting in that way going to get Deon Carter yeah there you go so with all that being said here’s here’s my angle let’s say you know none of those Deon Carter goes at eight which I had on my most recent MTH uh it’s say you know you don’t get to trade for Clingan because he goes in the top four or five or whatever the case may be and and then dton connect goes six to Charlotte which is another Buzz type option so all three of those guys are off the board and you’re just sitting there at nine: how about trade back get attach a salary on the roster that now this is easier said than done by the way but it is an idea here’s an idea I think that really would benefit the Chrismas attach a salary that you uh do not value too much let’s say you zire Williams I keep going I was hoping you would say John conar John conar for for Jo let’s go John con It Goodbye Johnny you you ship him out let’s say you move back to the 15 16 range now you go get a developmental big in that range you get Zack Ed Don Holmes ye Mei or possibly even khil W if he’s still on the board I’d be fine with any of those by the way you get one of those bigs and you move back now let’s say when when you move back you don’t even attach a contract to it this is that’s one option here’s the other one this is gonna be this check this out y oh let’s say you move back to 15 16 or so you pick up an extra second rounder and you just use that in addition to 39 to move back we’ve seen the Grizzlies do this before this is how they got uh David Rody it was because Jak lvia was their pick and then they swiped back into the first round to get David Rody what if they do that again because there are some guys Bale Sharman like you mentioned you know I like Kevin mcculler Jr as a Defender uh Johnny uh Fury familiar with Kansas real skilled shooter like for all the lacks there are some Shooters out there and I know the Grizzles have been watching these guys I think I mentioned Jaylen Wells they’ve been watching him Johnny Fury uh they’re they’re looking at these dudes and these dudes Bay Shan all of them could theoretically be gone before 39 I’m not opposed to the grizzly saying you know what nine whatever we trade back get additional asset pick a big in that that second tier of bigs behind Donovan kingan and SAR get you know whether it’s CLE wees there in that range whether it’s Zack Edy but get the point that I’m making here the point is the fact that the Grizzlies have the opportunity to add a big SEC second tier big now you know the Duron Holmes ye Mei uh you know clew those guys on that tier trade back into the late first round or just move up from 39 what may maybe you move up to this late second round I mean earli in the second round 32 33 in that range whatever the case may be if you tell me you can get Johnny Fury who I have going at the end of the first round in my mock draft Baylor shyan who you know I saw you know who Kevin oconor compared him to Joe a bigger Brandon pimi I think you got a type Joe Mo I like that type you got a type I’m an airpods guy yeah um I what do you think about that I I think that’s a I like it I I think that if they came away again it’s nice to bring it back full circle are we trying to win a championship or not if you can’t get Donovan King and if you can’t get dton connect you could get Dollar Store version Dollar Tree uh it Zack Edy and Baylor shy both of those guys can come in they’re role players and again if you’re listening to oh God that’s those aren’t good picks at all they don’t have to be super solid class to me they don’t have to be Superstars the Grizzlies liking this draft like we talked about before is not too surprising because they don’t need Superstars they in theory already have their guys they have their johnar Superstar they have their borderline Allstars and jiren Jackson Jr and Bane if you are to believe that those guys are the guys you need pieces around them that are going to make them better I think it was Jonathan givy of ESPN called Zack EDI a 7 foot5 Jonas Valen chunis like hello he that guy was literally on the roster right like we had Jonas Valen junas and if he shoots the ball less and has a lower offensive usage than Jonas valunas Jonas was a heck of a fit he was a great screener he was a great rebounder those are things that Memphis needs to make this offense work so I think that there is a lot of value later on in this draft and it wouldn’t be the worst thing if Memphis traded back and maybe we’ll make that part of our NBA draft episode a bit of a prediction do we think they trade up do we think they trade back maybe they stay put for a Devin Carter uh that would be a good thing to kind of touch on on Wednesday’s show let us know what you think about this trade back idea uh whether it’s to add a player you know I mentioned Wendell Carter Jr might add another second round or to maybe sweeten the pot in that example U maybe it’s just for draft Capital like did Michael alluded to whatever the case might be let us know what you think in the comments uh it will be NBA draft first round day the next time we’re together to Michel Cole very excited about that we’ll make our official predictions maybe have a a couple of Clips I know lockon has done a great job putting some Prospect Clips together maybe we’ll share some of those and and let folks kind of hear what the overall network has to say our old friend Rafael Barlo for examp example about what these guys are capable of and where we think Memphis will actually land in the first round yeah a lot to look forward to and I mean we’re almost there we’re finally getting here towards the Finish Line uh yeah tomorrow’s episode just make sure you tune in uh do some best case worst case scenarios I think I think uh this draft you know uh it’s it’s a critical one but let’s not overreact either way because at the end of the day you know as Joe just said this this is a draft to get better around the margins this is what puts you from you know potential four seed to jumping into the one seed it’s not that you don’t need the next Superstar you got you know three stars already and GG I mean you saw his rookie here so uh I mean just get better around the margins and they have the potential to do that and Vince Williams Jr has potential role player possibilities Marcus Smart still on the roster luk Canard for now still in the roster mix lots of ways this can all play out so make sure you join us our Wednesday episode it’s going to be a great NBA Draft preview first round at least addition of the show uh make sure you’re liking commenting rating reviewing subscribing wherever you get 1. Today was the most sensible conversation I have heard thus far. Clingan does not make us a Championship team, so a great role player like Knecht or a mid first round big makes the most sense. BTW there are rumblings that Kessler may be available…..

  2. I’m betting the house on Edey. I don’t know why you don’t think he can be at least as good as Steven Adams

  3. Draft Knecht and give him Kennard minutes. If he's gone get Holland if he's there. If neither are there, keep Kennard trade back and take Ware.

  4. Let's Go ahead and move into the luxury tax arena. This group of great players may never be on a Grizzly roster again. Who's the owner?😂

  5. Cligion seems like a good in a couple of years guy. I am hoping for a 1st round pick that is not getting G league minutes

  6. I thinking these dudes don't know what there talking about we should take zack @9 clingan is going to be a bust zack and jjj who's stopping that we have a problem holding on to players we don't need we're right there!!

  7. I thought I want Cligan but I don't want no tender foot 7ft center that can not stay on the floor

  8. We absolutely should not pay Houston multiple first round picks for ANY PLAYER. Can't help them get better
