🚨MAJOR Zach LaVine Update: Bulls View Josh Giddey & Zach LaVine As PERFECT FIT?

what’s going on bulls fans welcome into the Bulls report by Chad Sports my name is Patrick seatman coming up on today’s show I wanted to talk about the latest KC Johnson report is he is indicating that maybe the Bulls won’t be trading Zack oine ahead of the NBA draft that gets underway tomorrow night and I couldn’t be more excited about it but before we dive into that guys make sure you guys guys lock Us in I would really appreciate it and hit that sub button but the big time Zack cine update we got was coming in from Casey Johnson and just typical Bulls when I originally read this and he said Zack LaVine really fits with Josh Giddy and there is a scenario in which they try and rehab this relationship now I had two thoughts when I read this report one this is just the Bulls being the bulls the bulls trying to double down on their mistakes and just continuously trying to make this work even though you look at all the data you look at the past couple of Seasons it just doesn’t or the Bulls are actually throwing a smoke screen out there you know trying to get other you know NBA teams be like oh maybe the Bulls do want to keep aine but you know if I or if I had to choose one of those two I’m assuming this is just the Bulls being the Bulls and they could actually try to rehab this relationship and maybe they are really looking at you know Zack aen and Josh Giddy and maybe they’re just like oh that’s going to be the starting back court you know of the future for Chicago and you know if that is the case I just want to make this point I think that would be a terrible move I think with what we saw from Kobe white and I would assmo these uh this past season you know them taking that step up like I think they deserve it and I think would be the best call for this organization moving forward if that is your starting point guard and starting shooting guard for the next couple of seasons for many reasons I think their games complement each other very well Kobe a very offensive minded guard can score at all three levels and then you got io on the other hand you know he’s more of that gritty player focuses more on the defensive side of the floor really good in transition and I just think those two both have good size on them as well that should be your starting back court but if the Bulls are viewing this Josh giddy move as a move to help Zack LaVine and help you know his game go to another level with the Chicago Bulls I mean I think that would be absolutely ludicrous now you know in terms of this being a smoke screen um you know I hate giving you know the Bulls front office you know too much credit and you know I maybe this could be a smoke screen maybe somebody told Casey Johnson you know to put this out there right before the draft and you know maybe they’re trying to get a draft day trade get another you know if the Bulls think they could get another lottery pick for LaVine maybe that’s what they’re doing here but you know I really hope it is a smoke screen I hope this is not the Bulls seriously considering this if they can’t move aine this Summer that they’re going to run it into the season as potentially Josh Giddy and Zack LaVine as your back court or you know maybe they somehow throw Kobe white in there too and then you got you know LaVine at three Kobe white at the two and Josh giddy you know at the point guard spot but I just think that would be a mistake and you know the Bulls I think the best argument you can make for them to move off Zack move off demard DE rozan and move off Vu is you just look at your draft pick for this next upcoming season like it is a top 10 protected pick heading to San Antonio so the Bulls do not or if the Bulls are not selecting in the top 10 next season you will not have your first round pick which would be catastrophic for this organization moving forward considering how loaded next year’s draft class is especially at the top I mean the big time name being Cooper flag playing at Duke but I mean the Bulls need to do whatever it takes to get that first round pick next season and you would hope they’re you know obviously you’re not going to actively tank you’re not going to actively you know try to lose games but behind closed doors if I was a part of the Bulls front office I am hoping and I am praying that we are having a top 10 pick next season so you know I really hope the Bulls are just using this as a smoke screen and you know I was looking at um just past trades you know draft day trades over the past couple years and you know how it does connect back to the Chicago Bulls here um there was two players Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook they were both dealt the last two years on draft day both were you know players who didn’t have the best reputation at the time had a bad contract and they were dealt on the day of the draft when Chris Paul went to the Warriors and Russell Westbrook went to the Lakers you know I was just thinking you know the player this year has bad contract doesn’t really have a good reputation you know amongst the league right now that’s Zack line so hopefully the Bulls do get this done on draft day and you know if they really are thinking that Josh Giddy and Zack oen are a perfect fit for each other and that they will try to rehab this relationship with LaVine I just I just think it would be organizational you know malpractice but you know I mean you also get to the point where it’s like LaVine has also been very vocal that he wants to move out of Chicago he doesn’t you know see this as a place he can be long term anymore I mean he was sitting on the sidelines when all these trade rumors last year were going around about him and the Lakers he was wearing a Los Angeles hat during a post game like I just think he has made it blatantly obvious clutch Sports has made it blatantly obvious that they want to get LaVine out of Chicago and it literally just seems like the only people that want to keep LaVine here with the Chicago Bulls is our tourist and Mark everley so hopefully LaVine does get dealt you know here uh before the NBA draft does get underway tomorrow but you guys let me know down in the comments will the Bulls trade Zack oine I’ll make this to pin comment on today’s show predict it for me cuz right now I’m 50/50 you know I thought the Josh giddy trade you know was indicating that you know they’re for sure going to blow it up they’re going to you know get to this youth movement here with the bulls but then you get a report like this from Casey Johnson and you know Casey’s tapped in he wouldn’t just say this for no reason so you guys let me know why for yes and for no if the Bulls will trade Zack oine now I do want to get to this uh report it was coming from Brett seagull um talking demard de Rosen and you know we got a report last week after the Josh giddy trade that that move could indicate that demard de R Roan you know could be less likely to return to Chicago if they are going to you know get in this you know rebuild and you know tanking mode but Brett said this he said rival teams are anticipating that deardo Rosen will hear out offers that come his way when the free agency period begins potentially leading to a departure from Chicago now I see many teams throwing dear you know maybe a two-year $60 million deal I maybe a 2-year 45 I really don’t know what dear’s Market is going to be he is an older player but he was still very productive over the past couple of seasons and you know maybe if it’s like a team like Philadelphia let’s just say Philadelphia strikes out on Paul George and they you know have that Max slot still remaining not saying they’re going to give Demar that Max slot but maybe they offer him a two for 60 or you know even if they get up to like a two for 65 deal or whatever it may be but if the report was true you know dating back to a couple months ago when uh right after the season ended apparently the Bulls offered Demar a two-year $80 million deal if that report is true and that’s the contract the Bulls sign like let’s just think worst case scenario of the offseason right now with Chicago you think like if you’re the Bulls front office you think Josh Giddy and Zack aen are a perfect fit so you run it back and you don’t trade Zack oine and then you give demard Rosen $40 million a year and you necessarily just run back this same group but you replace Alex cruso with Josh giddy that would be the worst move the Bulls front office could possibly make one because that team they have enough Talent they will somehow scrap together 35 wins which also means you’re probably going to be in that 10 to 15 range of the draft and that’s what the Spurs are probably hoping the most is that the Bulls think they can run this back try to compete for an Eastern conf Conference playoff spot and then that pick you know will will probably be you know pick 11 again or pick 12 will most definitely be heading to San Antonio but I do want to talk about the Spurs to close out Today’s Show and just um you know just a gut feeling I have on a team that could trade for LaVine so if you think about the two negatives around LaVine right now it’s his contract most definitely especially since he has that 15% trade kicker so that’s going to even you know cause more issues for the Bulls trading them but also he’s not the biggest winner and he you know hasn’t really shown a consistent effort on the defensive side of the floor those are the probably the biggest you know red flags around LaVine well you look at a team like the Spurs they could take on his contract they still got wemi on his rookie deal and if they just want a guard to you know help the development of Victor wenyama I mean he’s still you know 19 years old so even when lavine’s contract is done he’ll only be 22 and then plus you talk about the defense and The Winning Side of the game you would bring him in under Greg papovich bring him in under that Spurs culture they have down there in San Antonio like I just can’t get this out of my head like that the Spurs are going to be the team that could potentially trade for LaVine and maybe it’s just a you know you throw in whatever player it is to match salary and you take off the protections of next year’s first round pick I don’t think they would give up you know pick eight and obviously you don’t pick four uh for LaVine which they have uh in the upcoming draft on Wednesday but you know I could see the Spurs as being like hey we’ll give you Kellin Johnson you know whatever it is a salary filler take off the protections of next year’s pick LaVine goes down to San Antonio and then you’re looking at the Spurs and I actually think would be a great fit I think LaVine would you know play really good basketball there you would have that defensive anchor of wemy that would just you know mask all of you know his defensive you know inefficiencies so I can’t shake the Spurs if I had to predict it right now a draft day trade that will go down or maybe a couple days after the draft I think it’s going to be Zack cavine heading to San Antonio I don’t necessarily believe uh the report to the Kings being interested too much just you know basketball-wise I just don’t really think that makes too much sense especially with them bringing back when EK monk like there’s a lot of cooks in the kitchen in that back court and there’s only one basketball so I don’t necessarily agree with that I don’t think Philly is going to be interested I don’t think Miami I don’t think New York I could maybe see the Utah Jazz we heard them possibly being interested in line maybe they want to give up you know Pick 10 and I don’t know maybe maybe that’s just my wishful thinking about somehow getting the first pick out of LaVine but I just I just think it’s going to be San Antonio they’re the one team that can you know afford his contract and you know I bet you they could get the best out of him like I think LaVine would thrive in a place like that plus Greg papovich he loves him coached him when he was with Team USA um and that’s when we actually saw LaVine you know playing defense he was picking dudes up 94 feet you know that year um so I just uh that is that is my bold prediction heading into the draft uh tomorrow is that Zack leine you know possibly could be traded to the San Antonio Spurs
