Drafting talent has been lakers problem. From 2015 to 2017 Lakers missed on drafting Porzingis(drafted DLO), Jaylen Brown, (Drafted Brandon Ingram) and Jason Tatum (drafted Lonzo Ball) all thanks to the front office, Magic and Pelinka. Coaches are not the issue here.
Rob’s haircut in the press conference was a poor choice same as his trade with Westbrook

The Ham went bad…Ham played the wrong dudes toward the end of the season and into the playoffs. Ham's love of hamsters(3 guard lineups), Prince, Reddish mysteries, Vando hurt, Wood hurt, crimes against Christie and Zions blown tire cost the team a favorable matchup v OKC…or anyone other than the Nuggets. Ham continued to play small with said hamsters against the Nuggets when it mattered most. Ham LOST the team after WINNING the IST. What if THAT team played in the playoffs?They're one of the few teams to beat the Celtics at their place…without LeBron OR AD! The player coach disconnect short circuited a potential battle for 18 in the Finals.
All they should be focused on is send the King out on top…maybe and different voice can make a difference. All it takes is a moment.

That interview didn’t sit well with me firstly he compared himself to Hurley and swore at a reporter made her feel like she asked a stupid question. If coaching experience isn’t nessary why do the best coaches get paid millions. every coach he goes up against will have that edge. The lakers should have got budenholzer straight away like phoenix If they’re looking to win a chip
here we go again with trevor and his gang. i like this…im impressed with that. the same thing they said about darvin ham before. this is just a press conference. dont buy right away with jj's words and attitude in this press conference. let him translate all this talking into winning then ill be impressed.
RE: Gamifying – As a game designer I feel like I need to define what this means. It doesn't mean "on an app or phone." It means that you create a system which rewards people for doing x, y, and z. Players can track their progress, etc. Basically, Lakers players will be rewarded for putting in the work. Sounds like a positive to me.
Astonishing u guys missed the fact that an high impact player like vando is excommunicated from JJs interview might mean his injury was worse than they admitted. They might know he's not100% and did not mention him coz he can't play.

The team ISN'T that far off from being a contender. Vando was hurt, Vincent was hurt, Woods was hurt, there appear to have been strategy (x's and o's) and team chemistry (coach/player) issues, including a lack of buy-in. The current team could be MUCH BETTER with those things improving, alone. That doesn't even account for improvement through draft and free agency. After all, this team has 2 top-twenty players as its' foundation.
Coupled with the comment on new CBA on making trades, the emphasis, re-emphasis on player developement talk tells me no significant trade happening.
The non-mention of Vando and DLo… Tells me they might be the best trade chip Rob may have…

Rob Pelinka is struggling probably due to the fact he won’t include Reeves in any trade. This is THT, Caruso, Kuzma, all over again. Reeves is a solid role player and fan favorite, that’s it. We have the chance to package him for an allstar…and once again we holding on to role players that won’t make a significant impact. /Fin

“Gamifying” does not equal making games outta content 😂😂 it means to make engaging with a specific content more engaging, enjoyable, and understandable. Idk what they could be specifically referencing but if they need to break it down for players to truly understand what the coaching staff is trying to get them to do, THEN DO IT

Trev, the gamifying is a need cuz the season and sometimes offseason does not afford enuf physical practice time with team…. So use VR to simulate sets makes sense for player to visualise plays and focus on his role when it comes to player movement, floor positioning, angles and stuff….
Player development is very important instead of always making trades when your not sure if that player will fit…draft well and you can have players ready when there number is called cause we have a lot of young talent!🇯🇲
