Called that. Seems obvious. They (Detroit) need players and to increase their payroll but not Jerami since he’s older and fits better on a team who needs/wants to go deep. Give DET some shooters was my thinking since that’s their obvious hole and we get to move up in the process.
Would assume Grimes is a filler here in that case? Idk why the Mavs would just move out THJ like that for Grimes when they can go get Grant.

The question is if this is a dump for Dallas to have FA money, or to facilitate Jerami to Dal?
To get Grimes back for essentially a THJ dump doesn’t make sense to me, maybe Green is in his way to Det in this deal?
If it’s both, maybe Powell or Kleber are on the move too so they have Grant and DJJ money
