The Detroit Pistons are hiring Dallas Mavericks executive Dennis Lindsey as the Senior VP of Basketball Operations, sources tell ESPN. Lindsey constructed the Utah Jazz era of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert and now goes to Detroit to join Trajan Langdon’s new group.
I feel the timing of this news is a bit strange given that we’re currently rumored to be discussing a trade with Detroit.
I kinda worry this could be a noticeable loss for us. Ever since he was signed at the start of last off season, I’ve liked our moves.

Hopefully something like that won’t lead to any tampering issues. I’ve already had my fill of that lol.

In return, they give us a player and absorb THJ expiring contract lol.

Love me some Nico but I’ve noticed a steadier hand and much more level headed franchise when it comes to moves since Lindsey arrived. Have to give him some credit and value his experience/voice especially when how well the mavs have been at adding quality players and not overpaying. landing lively omax DJJ exum PJ gaff all since last June is impressive af.
