5 Trade Targets For The Orlando Magic To Go For…
what is up everybody and welcome back to ler athletes my name is CH to another interesting video for you here on the channel today’s five trade targets for the Orlando Magic um Orlando Magic kind of in an interesting area I think the fact is that the Orlando Magic was very good last season it’s just they’re kind of in this area of they could go a little bit more and they have the assets to go a little bit more to make him a true Contender I think they you know overestimated or not overestimated sorry um I think they overachieved last season um and didn’t really we didn’t really know they were going to actually do this well for the season and now we see them and we know what they need we know what they could do know what they could change and I got five trade targets that we’ll talk about we’re going to go from realistic to probably non-realistic and the first realistic one for me is Anthony Simons I think there’s a chance that we don’t see Anthony Simons play for the Not Orlando Magic Portland Trailblazers next season um I think the Trailblazers could be looking at the dynamic duo of a um you know uh sko Henderson with a shayon sharp that could be the future of the Portland Trailblazers while Anthony Simons could be looking at something to potentially get more assets for so what would a trade look like well we could be looking at a trade potentially for you know a unprotected pick in the future with um some other first we could be looking at you know Jonathan Isaac involved because of the contract situation maybe they try and find backup defensive guards shooting uh other shooting guards that can be kind of in the back with Cole Anthony J sag these trades are just all these trades in here are going to be just examples that I think that could happen whatever do not 100% believe me this is just a thought process if you say Chadwell this is something never could happen that’s okay that is 100% okay so Anthony Simons we’re going to say uh is a huge trade Target and why would he go become a trade Target here’s the thing that I think the Orlando Magic really need when you see the Orlando Magic team yes it is a great or defensive team but offensive it is good but they don’t really have shot creators a lot of these people you’re going to realize are shot creators that I’m finding people that can make their own shot people that can shoot the ball people that can kind of slightly pass the ball as well people that are going to be able to score the ball yes maybe it’s taken away from the defensive capabilities that the Orlando Magic have already grown but at the same time you’re going to have these shooting capabilities um for the players so Anthony sl’s the first one at the bottom another trade I could see is that maybe if they’re trying to beef up the center position they could trade Robert Williams and an any Simons together in a trade um we’ll have to see about that but Cole Anthony and Jonathan Isaac you’re going to see a lot of in this video the next most realistic one for me is dejonte Murray and I think Deonte Murray could honestly be one of the most perfect picks for Atlant magic if you are still wi that offensive capabilities that can pass that can you know score on his own sometimes dejonte Murray is that guy and if you want somebody that can defend the ball and still have the defensive capabilities that you want de jante Murray is that guy now is he going to shot create like some of the other people I don’t think so but if you’re trying to look at more defensive I think this is the way to go and you get the Superstar and here’s the thing I think dejonte Murray’s contract is probably one of the better contracts we see in the NBA for 25 million a year for four years some players that aren’t even Allstars aren’t even considered Allstars get that money so here’s the thing if you can get that on your team for the next four years it looks like that could be the perfect scenario for you to potentially po have to pay fron Wagner Paulo in the future whatever it might be now the Hawks are going to tax on Jon Murray we’ve seen what jonte Murray has gone for we’re going to kind of still have some similar uh capabilities for that because I think he’s on a very great contract uh Jonathan Isaac somebody that is uh expiring contract that is going to be gold to some of these teams especially the Hawks they would tank a lot of these trades are tanking trades for the Hawks um I think Anthony black is going to be the one thing that I think could set the Hawks and set any team honestly um into a agreement for a trade with the Orlando Magic I think Anthony black has you know think of a Josh giddy think of a um who’s another person I was thinking of think of Dyson Daniels think of a better Dyson Daniels that’s Anthony black his ability to maybe he’s not amazing at shooting maybe not amazing at you know scoring offensively but can pass the ball B amazing can still you know sometimes does have a shot you know um has great defensive capabilities for his size I think that’s what’s going to push over a lot of teams I think the Hawks would be fine with maybe taking in Anthony black to be potentially their point guard of the future if they would go a tanking route and kind of build him up while also taking in some picks but dejonte Murray’s a pick speaking of the Atlanta Hawks I think we’re going to go Trey young here now for me Trey young is going to be a little bit harder than jonte I think for the fact of how much he’s getting paid for um not being really a defensive asset at all for just everything with defensive capabilities the contracts doesn’t really help the Orlando Magic in that sense but when you look at what their absolute need is is it’s a shot Creator it’s a shooter it’s a score and I think that is Trey young I think he does fit well with the build I think he could open up opportunities for some of the Leno magic too um and I think he might cost a little bit extra than maybe Deonte Murray just because of we’ve seen the eliteness of Trey young before now dejonte Murray’s had some good Seasons but we haven’t seen um him consistently have these amazing amazing Seasons as Trey young ass um so what would it be first we’re going to look at the bomb trade I think they don’t trade for Anthony black unless the Jon’s off the team that still could be a thing though for Anthony black and I think that’s a pretty good trade getting unprotected picks I think that’s what the Hawks would really won when they don’t really have any picks um next the top one’s I think the most interesting one if the if the Orlando Magic don’t believe Wendel C Jr is their center for the future which I don’t think they do I think they generally think that another Center could come in and play for them then Trey young and Clint capella could be packaged in a deal in a way to get more assets and to get better contracts maybe younger players I think that would make sense you have Ona kongu potentially the first your first pick could be a alexar could be a honovan kingan supposedly um Zachary rishes share could be also the pick don’t get me wrong with that um but I just want to see what could happen I think Trey young is probably out of this whole list probably the one that fits them the best when it comes to what they need but it’s going to take probably the most and going to probably hurt them defensively the most this is one that I want to throw out there but I generally believe there’s no chance in hell this would ever happen Paul George has been someone that has been involved in some rumors of lately of potentially leaving the clippers because of they’re not willing to pay him what he wants a Max contract and if Paul George is looking at the money situation then winning I don’t think we see a scenario where Paul George stays on the Clippers after next year and if you’re the Clippers you’re going to find a way to get something out of Paul George you cannot just let him walk for nothing and with that being said what would fit a team better than potentially a Paul George I I can play shooting guard I need to say that can play shooting guard um that can defend the ball can shoot the ball very well can create his own shot very well fits kind of perfectly with what you have you would have a bigger lineup as well if he goes to shooting guard where you already have Paulo and fron Wagner who don’t get me wrong fron Wagner can pass that ball the thing that just hurts me the most is how do they get to a trade and what would the Clippers want because I’ll tell you right now if you look at their picks they got nothing they got nothing so how could they tank how could they switch things up and I don’t think that the Clippers would be really looking at you know a Jaylen Suggs jet Howard to build their team around I don’t think that they would do the bottom trade even and it’s kind of hard because I think Paul George with a one-year contract a lot of people are not going to take that chance on him like they would maybe in the past like the Thunder did like um even the Clippers kind of did so what would you do what can you do honestly what can you do and the thing for me is there’s going to have to be something that the Clippers or the magic are giving something up that is a future piece that can 100% help the team or they’re going to have to give win now players but I don’t see that happening I don’t see that really being something I think the we can look at the Mavericks and the Nets when they did the Kyrie to uh Kyrie deal and we can see that the Nets gave wi now pieces to the or the Mavs give win now pieces to the uh Nets Nets still try to be win now didn’t help in in their favor at all they only really got a first round pick for Kyrie so we’ll have to see but I do think that is more realistic than the next and last but certainly not least we have Cary towns and I want to bring up Cary towns with the whole speculation of him being traded last off season thought there could be a chance that c would be traded this off season but I actually think there’s chances To None Of carony Towns um getting traded but I do want to bring up the scenario because if they are looking at a potential you know Center a potential power forward Center that could um really space out the floor but also have the abilities that they would want in a shot Creator I think cartin towns would work well for the Orlando Magic now what would it take for the the Orlando Magic and what would it take for the Tim rules to do this trade well if you look at the Tim rules I do think that Mike Conley is an essential piece in their offense with the assisting with the passing whatever and with Mike Colley being so old I think you would have to try and find someone that could be a point guard that could help that for the future now Anthony black I feel like does fit in a way that could be a great passer in the future maybe not as well as Mike Conley’s been but also have defensive capabilities that could work well with ant um really have that defensive uh minded team that I think helped them during the playoffs but in my opinion another thing that they really need is more wings I think just athletic Wings could really help now you’re not really gting in this trade and I don’t think that magic really have that amazing athletic Wings the only ones I could say is Jonathan Isaac but do you really play Jonathan and Isaac like that for Cary tals I don’t think so another trade that I just don’t see happening I don’t see anything but I do think that this should be on their radar a lot of these people that you could say for the last two is three team trades so three team trades like this could fill in situations let’s say the let’s think about a team potentially could tank in the future or could want certain pieces that have teams the New York Knicks if or not the Knicks sorry New York Nets New York Nets Brooklyn Nets I was thinking New York Knicks because I was thinking of uh Julius Randle because I think that is a trade option in the future muel Bridges Mel Bridges would want off the team and let’s say the Timol would want Mel Bridges fits well can shoot the ball a wing defensive Wing well do the timberl really have the uh tanking and capabilities that they would want probably not would they have the contract situations that work probably not so you could probably see a scenario with the magic where Pat goes to the magic we could see a way where you know Mel goes to the Tim rolles and the magic give all the young pieces all the tanking pieces that could give to the Nets something like that um I do think though that of course this isn’t unrealistic but it’s at five for a reason I just want to throw out the idea that this would be an intense trade and be crazy for the Orlando Magic and that I hope you guys enjoyed let me know what you think down in the comments below
