[Wojnarowski] The Brooklyn Nets have agreed in principle on a trade to send F Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-rounder, sources tell ESPN.

Weird post considering we are neither the Nets nor the Knicks.

  2. lmaoooyikes

Mikal is good and all but 5 firsts and 2 seconds for him is wild

Also this might signal a full on rebuild for the Nets meaning DFS/Cam Johnson might be available for trade

  3. Expensive haul damn also didn’t know the knicks had that many 1sts

  4. If that’s the price I’m glad OKC didn’t go in for him personally. While he’s a good player and on a pretty decent contract I saw him as more of a good fit over a great fit here

Give OG all the money he wants and we could legit be the best defensive team in history

They’ll most likely let go of either hartenstien or og, if we manage to land either I’ll be happy but we don’t attract many free agents to begin with

Any cool targets on the Nets if they gonna sell?

If the thunder had paid this much for him I would’ve been irate lol

Does this vindicate the wolves for their gobert deal now? imagine what ainge is going to want for lauri

If Mikal going for five 1st then we can kiss the Lauri to OKC dreams goodbye lmaoooo

The Brooklyn thunder lmao! They fucking fleeced their ass

  12. This exacerbates the price to trade for anyone better than Mikal.

We joke about it taking 8 picks to pull Lauri form Ainge… well, yeah. Thanks Knicks.

What a stupid fucking trade for the Knicks. It’s not making them better than the Celtics, they’ll still be injured in the playoffs because of Thibs, they’ll still lose in the second round to a team like the Pacers. They had all the draft capital…and used it on a guy who’d be the sixth best player on the Celtics.

Mikal is pretty good at everything, great at nothing. He gets a B across the board. There’s something to be had for those type of players, but not five first round draft picks. He’s worth…2. Maybe 3 with protections.

So, I don’t know if we will make a big trade because of pick inflation. I’m ambivalent towards a big trade anyways. But I’m indignant, just with someone with an IQ above -257, that the Knicks made this stupid trade.

Hey guys, honest question. Does posting these trades here not feel like a bait to you?

My ass was so convinced we got Mikal until i fully read this 😭

  14. I just hope this means we can go get Nic Claxton

Knicks overpaid – 4 unprotected 1st round picks for a player whose best award in the nba is 1 all nba defensive team.

Too lazy to make any analysis, but i feel like this brings up our chances to get OG.

I love that for the Knicks man, for the basketball part of it and the vibes

That’s freakin bananas. Mikal Bridges is like your 4th or possibly 3rd best player on a championship team and they just got the Paul George MVP haul LITE for him. WTF
