The Spurs about to ruin our summer tomm. night. They gonna trade for Trae on draft night. Spurs got picks now for Atlanta to consider on draft night. But guess what, Im not sold on our getting better by acquiring Trey. The backcourt would be too small and cant guard anyone if its Trae and CJ. We don't even have a Center to protect the paint for such a lack of team defense. Pass. Plus the Mikal pick makes getting Trae ridiculous now. What is it gonna require B.I., Dyson and 4 1sts? Man, I don't see Trae taking us where we want to go. I just don't.
You would have to trade CJ and find a taller and more defensive minded 2guard to try to guard the more difficult matchup in the backcourt and hide Trae's defensive shortcomings. And to think, you could have Jose and Trae trying to fill rotational minutes? Yikes. And no Naji to help. Trae, CJ, Hawk, Jose? That's what we throwing out to win a championship? C'mon man.
