does Lonzo play you said Lonzo is Lonzo even in the league he still in the league he in leag and they fixed that nasty looking shot I’m glad I’m glad he fix shot seen it so he would yeah then he got injured so it is what it is but with the Monte thing I can kind of understand him being blindsided like he literally met with Tran over the last week and they were discussing ways to move forward with this team so in his defense I can understand why he’s blinds sided to a degree but when you go and put up 14 wins you got to expect that’s not good enough even with you know the situation that that it was you were a established coach you were known to have quick turnarounds in your career the fact that you came here and only got 14 wins I mean it it’s kind of the writing was on the wall essentially funniest thing is the Detroit Pistons had two more wins than the Detroit Lions did last season put that into perspective yeah but they had two less wins than the Boston Celtics had this playoff run Boston 16 the piss is 11 14 that’s why theind blindsided when you put up ugly numbers like that yeah I that’s why at press conferences I just don’t believe most of the stuff that we hear yeah yeah I can I have I definitely agree with you on that stance and a lot of times it’s just BS it’s just coach speaker it’s just saying something at the podium last night I went to a concert I went to a concert went to see J AO great show uh definitely a woman’s show it was was very interesting in there but I was thinking I’m at LCA this is home of the Pistons we know it’s the Red Wings Arena it’s home of the Pistons and I was thinking the first time I’m in here I don’t know who the coach is going to be I don’t know who the players on the team necessarily are I don’t know what the direction of the franchise is like it was just it was hitting me as I was walking up the steps and look at all this Pistons magic when you go in the club you see Isaiah you see Bill lambir you see the pass you see the trophies you see the three Larry O’Brian’s and you’re just like from that to this and now understand it is different ownership John gors versus Mr Davidson but it’s just crazy how far the Detroit a piston executive because they don’t know what direction the team is going in they don’t know who the next coach is going to be they don’t know how to steer this ship you can’t steer a ship when your captain isn’t present and every organization every corporation whether you want to go in basketball you want to go football you want to go to IBM you want to go to Google if you’re a CEO or your owner is isn’t present and understanding Tom G is throwing money at issues but throwing money at problems is not the same as being on the ground figuring out how do we make this thing better until Tom Gores wants to have that conversation I don’t think the piskin can do much even with TR and Lon and what he was doing down there in the Pelicans and his resume won’t mean anything without Tom gor actually being here I know here here’s the unique thing we have in this city now uh we we no we always used to say lion ownership was the worst in Detroit that is no longer the case now we got to decide What’s worst the worst ownership Tom goris or Chris illage that that’s a auh it’s got to be gors [Music]
