  1. The ending of the post is that garland is cool with the current situation.

There was a report early this week, I forget where I read it, that said the main rift from Donovan and garland was caused by jb and with a new coach he is cool with staying with the cavs under a new offense

  2. I mean, if Mikal is off the table, unless we’re getting a win now piece like KD, I don’t see anyone else I’d trade him for.

I hope so. I really look forward to what Atkinson can do. It’s hard to trust anything Rich Paul is saying because there’s always ulterior motives.

    Lakers mock proposal template.

    Your team: Good/great player.

Lakers: A chance to help the Lakers win, 2nd rounder.

I really hope the cavs try to get one these players cam Johnson, finny Smith, royce, or hunter

Bridges fetched a decent player and 4 first rounders. Cavs can’t accept a garbage offer from the Lakers.

I mean zach lowe loves to make hypotheticals up for engagement, the lakers have never been linked to garland and not to mention it all hinges on how he feels if Mitchell resigns

  8. Darius Garland averaged 22 and 8 on efficient percentages for the two years prior to this one. Trading him when his value is low, knowing he’s clearly more talented than he played last year, seems like a dumb idea. I’ve yet to see someone propose someone who is more talented than DG in a realistic scenario. He was hurt last year with some major injuries that take some time to recover from physically and mentally, so I’m not giving him up unless we get better this year and I don’t see a scenario where that happens.

To be honest I really think DMitch and Darius Garland staying is a good move. They need to not be playing at the same time (supposedly). I personally think it was a JB problem, and am hoping so. If we keep them both we have some *serious* depth that just needs to be optimized, which hopefully our new coach will be able to do (what JB obviously couldn’t)

Teams don’t want a small, expensive guard coming of a bad season? I’m shocked.

This season is our first chance to see DG and DM in a real offense together.

Sorry, but the so-called “doomers” called this out early and often: JB has no offensive philosophy and therefore we could not get a real evaluation of their fit together.

DG has all the right stuff to be a great player for this team.

His point guard game is built for the modern NBA. He always comes into the season fit and better than before. He bought into the Cavs immediately in a bad situation and he put leadership pressure on himself from the start.

We deserve to see this guy in a real offense.

But he has to play better. He knows that.

I’m still in on DG. Totally in.

Mikal Bridges just got traded for 4 unprotected firsts, some swaps, and another player.

The Cavs are going to need to rob someone if they are going to trade Garland IMO…

And that’s with me saying the Cavs should trade him in previous comments, but the Cavs just can’t be giving talent away…
